La Biancara was founded by the will of Angiolino Maule and his wife Rosamaria to invest in their life–long passion: winemaking. In the early 80s they bought lands in the hilly area of Sorio Gambellara and built there house and cellar.
In vineyard and winery Nature is the queen and our personal idea of wine is expressed every year in the bottles we have been producing since 1988.
The first label produced in 1988 is SASSAIA, a white wine that best expresses the qualities of our grape variety, Garganega, present here for more than 1300 years.
Over the years, the search for quality and ecological integrity have marked our work and thought. Today, Angiolino is helped by his sons Francesco and Alessandro in the work in the vineyard, in the winery and in sales.
Together they built a new winery and bought new vineyards, but their spirit of research for quality and their ecological integrity, for the improvement and authenticity of wines, remains the same as always.
The extension of the soil grown with vineyards, now, is of nine hectares of property and three rented, two of them in Sossano (on the Berici hills), where Grenache expresses itself very well. The vineyards are located at a height between 90 and 260 meters above sea level. Moreover, the company cultivates a hundred old olive trees and fruit trees such as cherries, figs, apricots and peaches from which it produces natural jams with the simple addition of sugar.
In 2000, the Bisol family initiated its own agricultural activity, resuming a family tradition rooted in past centuries. Currently, the farm, called Aletheia, consists of 23 hectares, 13 of which are vineyards. About 9 hectares, in the Caonada resort on the southern side of Montello, are planted with Pinot, gray and black. The systems are designed in a modern viewpoint of high quality, with 5,000 vines per hectare in low yield per unit. Other 5 hectares are set in a beautiful and sunny hill in Nervesa. Here, we have planted 3 hectares of Prosecco, with a significant presence of Perera, Verdiso, Bianchetta and Boschera, to recreate the blend of the grapes historically present in our hills. In Nervesa about an hectare and a half of Recantina was planted, an ancient red grape variety of the high Treviso area, which we helped to recover, thanks to a long collaboration with the Experimental Institute for Viticulture of Conegliano.
The company is located in Cer di Negrar, on Mount Cà Paletta, on the East side of the valley of Negrar. The exposition of the vineyards is in the west and the soil is made of limestone and basalt. The farming system of the vineyards, in the old plants, is “Verona Arbour”, and in the new ones, is Guyot. The company was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century with Silvio Quintarelli, who, along with his brothers, cultivated in sharecropping the vineyards of the Figri resort, in the town of Marano di Valpolicella. The wine produced was then exported to the U.S., in barrels of 50 liters, by the owner of the land. After the First World War, precisely in 1924, the company moved into the valley of Negrar, in the locality of Cer, where Silvio continues his activity with the precious help of his sons and his wife.
In the 50s, Giuseppe, the youngest of his children, took over the management of the company, to continue the family tradition, of the vineyard and the cellar. He renovated and specialized vineyards, increased barrels and requests. With time, the activity became increasingly large, but this did not distract the attention from the traditional method, which was strictly maintained, with constant love and dedication, along with his wife, his daughters and his loyal employees.
The years ranging from 1950 and 1955 were fundamental to the winery. Recioto was an important wine and, in the case of a less generous vintage that gave a more dry wine, they tried anyway to store it for subsequent years.
This experience led to a “method”, which led to a wine, Amarone, of high quality and discovered and appreciated by important connoisseurs. Amarone has been created from respect for nature, in the cultivation of the vine, from a patient and careful selection of grapes and a strong bond with tradition. In the 80s, following a reorganization of the property with the purchase of new vineyards, production was optimized and important changes in the selection of the grapes, and hence in production, were made. Since 1985, in effect, varieties of grapes such as Nebbiolo, Croatina, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc are regularly used, with excellent results. Another wine has been created: Alzero, fruit of experience and awareness in the technical drying of grapes, traditional of Valpolicella. Two features accompany the wines produced by the company: a natural predisposition to a long aging, which leads to improve the product for even more than twenty years, and a surprising liveliness, which express themselves for a long time after the opening of the bottle.
Azienda Agricola Ottella is located in the territory of the town of Peschiera del Garda, but San Benedetto di Lugana is the Cru that fans have to visit. Ottella deserves a place of the highest importance within its designation. Its Lugana DOC wines stand out for a style that points to the subtlety of tone, to aromatic intensity and widespread minerality. A conceptual, contemporary and original Lugana DOC, loved even beyond its geographical boundaries. This is the philosophy of creating wines in strict correspondence nose–mouth, fine and elegant in their evolution, exciting in their mineral feeling, the idea of wines of tasty pulp enriched with the salted and spiced flavor of clay.
Azienda Agricola Monte Frà is located in the heart of Custoza, east of Lake Garda and just 15 km from the old town of Verona, was founded by brothers Eligio and Claudio Bonomo in 1958. The firm today is composed of more than 100 hectares of property, among which, besides the namesake Monte, other estate owe their name to the same locality, such as Cà del Magro, Monte Godi, Mascarpine, Staffalo, Monte Fitti, Grottino and the beautiful Lena di Mezzo Estate in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica: Fumane.
Other hectares, then, are rented and all in the best zones of Verona. The family’s passion for wine of the Bonomo family was born in the country, whose staunch belief that good wine has its first origins in the vineyard, has meant that the first radical choices were made in its nature, leading to increase the number of vineyards in the field, a number that varies depending on the variety from 4,000 to 7,000 vines per hectare and choosing as a system of farming only the double Guyot and spurred cordon systems, which require to produce no more than 2–3 kg per plant. All the vineyards are completely irrigated through micro–irrigation, to allow the plant to be supplied in the best way in every season. The preservation of vintage characteristics are then guaranteed in the wine cellar, where through the temperature control both during pressing and during the fermentation and processing of musts optimally preserves the characteristics of each wine produced. The winery also has a loft for drying grapes, a barrel room for the aging of structure wines, a bottling plant and a storage wine cellar at a controlled temperature.
The meticulous attention that the family puts in every step of production means that their wines are imposed on domestic, European and international markets, chosen among the most representative of the typicality of Verona.
Besides the important approval of the customer quality, wines are confirmed by numerous journalistic awards, contests and guides who annually come from all over the world.
Azienda Agricola Marion, located in the uncontaminated Marcellise valley, east of Verona, is a small family run business managed by Stefano Campedelli, his wife Nicoletta and his brother Marco. The corporate philosophy is aimed at a careful and constant care of all stages of the production of wine, starting mainly from the management of the vineyards geared strictly to the maximum preservation of the natural balance of plants, Vineyards are located in an extremely sunny foothills and have been partially converted into Guyot, a breeding system that allows a greater qualitative yield of grapes. Ability, tenacity, work are the characteristics that have allowed this company to produce wines such as Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Teroldego, with great body and personality and able to express at the first sip the terroir that few producers are able to enhance in the best way.
The experience gained from the Grandi family and the entrenched vinegrowing and winemaking bases soon bear fruit. In the early 90s, still very young, he was called as a consultant by companies which wanted to produce wines of high and excellent quality. After 15 years of work, the basic concept that led to the creation of the I Campi company is consolidated in Flavio. The excellent quality of the wine originates from a set of interrelated factors which are: the optimization of viticulture, the optimization of the winery, and last not least THE TERROIR and in particular the land on which vines are grown. From this concept, the search for land (Campi) in areas of very high wine–growing vocation begins, and this is why the wines of the I Campi farm are called with the name of the soil profile from which they come. The company today cultivates about 12 hectares of land in management divided into Soave Classico and Valpolicella DOC. The Soave vineyards are located in one of the most well–known crus of the classic area in the territory of Costeggiola, in the Soave district, and lie to height differences of about 200 m.
In Monteforte d’Alpone, area of production of Soave Classico, the seat of the Gini farm is located, a production reality that has always been a point of reference for the quality of its wines. The brothers, Sandro and Claudio, deal personally with the management of more than 30 hectares of vineyards located in some of the hilly positions with the highest winegrowing vocations. Thanks to this company, it is possible to know how to reconcile the love for tradition with the most modern techniques of work and refinement that today’s wine–growing profession demands. In the new cellar, dug into the tufa rock, the precious wines produced by this company are kept. Their motto, "quality first", is an imperative that rhymes with seriousness, simplicity, friendliness and passion for their work.

Created according to the tradition of Valpolicella, the Ruffo wines have the typical ruby color with violet reflections, the intense aromas reminiscent of red fruits like cherry, blackberry, plum, chestnut in addition to fragrances and pepper.
Amarone della Valpolicella DOC, one of the productions, has a warm and full flavor that blends with a velvety body, creating an excellent balance, maintaining its traditional austere personality. It is produced and aged in oak barrels with passion and experience by the Artisan of Wine Ernesto Ruffo, an appreciated vinegrower.
Its quality, its characteristics are the result of little everyday choices. Since you prepare the ground for the plant of cuttings to the time of bottling, nothing should be left to chance, or excessively planned. Hence the philosophy of the manufacturer, his relationship with nature on the one hand, and with technology on the other, become essential moments to understand and better enjoy wine beyond any organoleptic characteristic easily amenable to conventional parameters. Each wine of the Sant’Alda court, comes from a particular vineyard that, for its location, its variety of grapes, its age and its type of farming, was preferred over time to produce its own wine that allows us to get a clear–cut and indisputable quality. All the grapes are certified organic, are picked by hand at the moment of ripeness, sometimes forcing us to perform several steps in the vineyards. The fermentations start spontaneously (own yeasts) and occur in small conical oak vats of 40 hl, where temperatures are only partially controlled. At the end of this phase, which generally lasts 15 days, in the case of Amarone over a month, after subsequent decanting, wines, except for Soave Vigne di Mezzane, before being bottled are aged in wood of different essence, capacity and age for a period ranging from 6 months to 4 years.
If in every great wine a story is held, that of Coffele wines tells first of all an encounter of love, that between Giovanna Visco and Giuseppe Coffele, in 1971. Then, it narrates their passion grown over the years: for the land, for the vines and on the pursuit of an excellence that has its roots in the tradition of the Visco family, a historic winery of Soave that already in the middle of the Nineteenth century vinified its grapes harvested in Castelcerino, one of the most suited crus of the Soave Classico area. This story comes up to date: the Coffele farm is now enriched by the presence of Alberto and Chiara Coffele, respectively enotechnician and sales manager. The Coffele wines were created and are kept behind the ancient portal that houses the winery dating back to the seventeenth century, right in the Soave old town, a place that combining ancient traditions to the vivacity of youth becomes a place to enjoy timeless flavors.
Cavalchina is the name of the area where the company is located, a name that probably was attributed to the fact that it was the residence of Count Cavalchini.
Located in the extreme South–East of the morainic amphitheater of Lake Garda, it has always had a vinegrowing vocation. In effect, the land registry of the Hapsburgs in 1848 already reports the existence of a large number of vineyards with the classification of Frist and Second category.
Probably, this classification was not only based on quality, but took into account the constant of production of the vineyard, to say, that of its resistance to drought, the main feature of the moraine soils of Lake Garda.
Cavalchina was stage of battles during the Fist and Second Wars of Independence; to witness the battle of 1866, a brown slate obelisk that commemorates the wounding of Prince Amedeo of Savoy remains.
The Cavalchina Farm was founded at the beginning of the latest century with the purchasing of the first group of vineyards, the winery was built later and was partly intended as a vinasse distillery, a facility which remained in activity until 1967. The most important historical fact linked to the Cavalchina Farm within the wine cellar was certainly the invention of Custoza, as Cavalchina in 1962 was the first to call Custoza the white wine of the area, obtained from Fernanda, Trebbiano and Garganega grapes, and to bring this wine to establish itself in the markets, then the most important, such as Rome and Milan.
Today, the vineyards of the Bisol farm have an extension of 125 hectares and are located in 35 farmhouses nestled in the steep hills ranging from Valdobbiadene to Conegliano, the most suited areas of the designation.
An area highly fragmented and dotted with small possessions, so that the average extent of each property is of a little more than one hectare. They are also productive realities, in which the various stages of the supply chain (vinegrowing, winemaking and sparkling wine making) are often carried out by different companies.
Knowing these specific aspects of the territory allows you to fully understand the importance of or the added value of Bisol: one of the very few companies that directly manage the entire production chain, from the careful choice of the land to bottling. It allows us to guarantee the highest quality performance, since each stage determines the final quality of the product, and requires a constant and strict control.
Worth to a special mention are the 3 hectares owned by the Bisol family on the Cartizze hill: an area that winds up a steep hill ridge, at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, and enjoys wonderful sun exposure, as well a continuous ventilation that together with the sandy nature of the soil makes of it an area of rare value. As many as 140 owners divide the 106 hectares of the Cartizze hill, and the value of the land has reached staggering quotations: more than a 2.5 million euro for one hectare.
Historical records date back to the Middle Ages the viticulture of the hills of Treviso. Here they produced excellent white wines, which, as written in 1606, were exported and appreciated "in Venice, Germany and even in the far Poland". It was a natural selection to impose the Prosecco wine court of the Alta Marca of Treviso area and especially in the area of Valdobbiadene, where it has been reigning since then on the steep slopes of the hills of hte Pliocene age. The environment is harsh, we are close to the first peaks of the Dolomites, but well protected and kissed by the warm light of midday. Here, in this environment of very deep peasant roots and rich in tradition, our story begins. In 1920, grandfather Abele purchased from Count Balbi Valier a Vineyard, naturally arranged as an amphitheater. Beautiful and full of promise. A land with which to start. Together with his son Adriano, grandfather Abele created a bond that was never untied: Prosecco of Casa Adami.
A young oenologist and a relatively recent company: all the possible enthusiasm of young and carefree drinking, along with structure and flavor, typical of this highly suited area in the heart of the designation. There is quality, and you can see it. A great combination, the result of a great selection, of crude wine filtration only through spin dryer, to keep intact part of the lees, respecting timeliness and moods of wine. A small no global revolution in the quiet Refrontolo area. The wines produced in this company are all made from Prosecco grapes of property where, with very modern winemaking facilities, you go from soft pressing to fermentation in temperature–controlled containers and then into autoclaves for fermentation. Prosecco ColSaliz is proposed in two versions: sparkling and frizzante. Among the leading products, we include: Prosecco Treviso D.O.C., Prosecco D.O.C.G. Brut and Prosecco D.O.C. Treviso Vintage.
