Restaurant - Enoteca Osteria di Ramandolo: "un pujûl sul Friûl" (a terrace overlooking Friuli) Saying "Ramandolo" immediately brings to mind one of the most beautiful and romantic views of the Eastern Hills of Friuli and the "Park of Vine and Wine": a happy geometry of terraced vineyards at the foot of Mount Bernadia that frame the picturesque fifteenth-century church of San Giovanni Battista. Sitting under the centenary horse chestnuts, the gaze rests on the woods, on the "vineyards - garden", on the castles and the parish churches of the plain until you see the Adriatic Sea in the distance kissing the coast ... It is no coincidence that Ippolito Nievo defined this region as a "small compendium of the universe â€: a patch of land that in a few tens of kilometers encloses the sea, the mountains, the plains and the hills. And it is precisely in this spectacular location that in 1880, the inhabitants of the town of Ramandolo, almost all winegrowers, built a tavern to promote their wine. Since 2013, the management of the restaurant has been entrusted to Pietro and Ilenia, a couple in life and in work: he is a chef with long experience always looking for the best seasonal products and particularly fond of old traditional dishes that modern life often tends to leave behind. plan and she landed in the world of sommelierie and catering after ten years of work in foreign commercial offices.
