Antica Osteria Dei Cameli

On the road that leads from Bergamo to Lecco, between Ponte San Pietro and Pontida, Ambivere is situated, a small town of 2,200 inhabitants, including a district. At the beginning of the old town, nestled in a Lombard courtyard of the sixteenth century, Antica Osteria dei Cameli is located.

Founded in 1856 by the ancestors of the current owners, it continues its activity of food service.

A targeted restructuring, signed by the respectful ability of architect of Lucio Agazzi from Bergamo, which was completed in July 2001, has made its old personality emerge.

Once inside, you will find yourself in an entrance of the fifteenth century, furnished with sitting area and fireplace. There, you will have the chance to leave your coats and sit, according to preference, in one of several rooms.

In a warm and comfortable environment you will be greeted personally by the owner Camillo Rota who will accompain you throughout your stay. Once you have chosen, with calm, from the menu that changes with the seasons and the market, you can in all relax enjoy the preparations of Loredana and Fernanda, wife and mother, respectively, of Camillo. And then you have the opportunity to realize the rigorous research of raw materials, the tireless commitment in the kitchen to transform them.

Particular attention is given to the rediscovery of the so–called fifth quarter, including sweetbreads, rognoncino, heart, spleen, nerves, lungs, tripe, etc.., and favoring preserved fish (including codfish, herring, salted anchovies, or lake fish, "missoltini", pike, char, and more).

Remarkable is the commitment in creating dishes based on seasonal fruits and vegetables, in order to safeguard fragrances and colors. Pasta of any types is produced in the house; even bread and breadsticks are prepared in 7/8 different types for dinner.

A separate chapter is made ​​up of desserts to which Giovanni Beretta works with competence and perseverance, offering desserts of high tasting and visual impact, interpreting the seasonality in a decidedly creative and original way.

Il Torchio Novanta

The "Il Torchio 90" Restaurant was founded from an old farmhouse in Montorfano, in the heart of Brianza.

It has an accommodation capacity of 400 seats, ideal for weddings, banquets, business lunches, with the opportunity to customize any request to have at your disposal the dining room without limits of time. We are reachable from the Como–Bergamo highway, just 50 meters from the exit for Montorfano for Cantù in direction Capiago Intimiano.

Ristorante Delfino Blu

At the gates of Como, on the main road to Lecco, the Delfino Blu Restaurant is located, a favorite destination for all connoisseurs of sea fish who like to eat it in a warm and refined environment.

Born from the twenty–five years old experience of Mr. Marcello Ferrara, the restaurant is the perfect place for every occasion. The restaurant offers a large indoor air–conditioned room that can accommodate up to 140 people, as well as a pleasant outdoor terrace with 70 seats used in summer.

At Delfino Blu you will spend pleasant moments in the company and in the name of good food. The kitchen offers a menu based on fish but also meat dishes and pizza baked in a wood oven: everything for all tastes.

Inside the restaurant, a winery has been obtained, where you can not only taste excellent wines, but also organize private business dinners.

Trattoria Nostradamos

In the center of Como, near the Renaissance Palazzo Vitani, Trattoria Nostradamos offers its guests the best traditional cuisine Como and not only. The menu, daily renewed, offers meat, cheese and pasta, along with recipes based on fish from the lake.

The restaurant is run in family–style by the owners, who personally take care of both the dining room (air conditioned in summer) and of the kitchen.
