The company of the Earl Spagnoletti Zeuli has ancient roots, which date back to before 1600.

In the heart of the countryside surrounding Castel del Monte, the Earl of Andria, with a modern entrepreneurial verve and investments in technology and research, dedicates to vines and olive trees an authentic worship.

The agricultural company of Conte Spagnoletti Zeuli products DOC Castel del Monte Wines (Nero di Troia, Montepulciano, Aglianico, Bombino, Pampanuto etc.) and IGT Murgia (Fiano), DOP Terra di Bari subzone Castel del Monte extra virgin olive oil and 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil.

San Domenico and Zagaria are the two estates of the agricultural company of the Earl Spagnoletti Zeuli, in total almost 400 hectares in Agro di Andria, in the province of Bari. Most are dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees, while the foothills are destined to vineyards cultivated in rows of Bombino Nero di Montepulciano and Troia, grape varieties from which the Castel del Monte, glory of the local oenology, is made.

Fostered by a calcareous soil and a mild climate, dry and sunny even in winter, the culture of olive tree growing is practiced with the typical “vaso impalcato” system, with plants 3 to 5 meters high, emptied in the middle, as dictated by the local tradition established in the centuries. They breed, in this way, olives of Coratina and Cima di Bitonto types, the pride of the production typical of the northern area of ​​the province of Bari, that through a clever processing of olives give an oil of great value and excellent organoleptic qualities.

The company has recently designed 6 hectares to experimental nurseries for the adaptation of Leccino and Frantoio, with monocone cultivation: a method that facilitates pruning and mechanical harvesting.

All olive groves are backed by drop irrigation plants, able to relieve each plant with 16 liters of water per hour.

The idea to start the production of high quality wines was of Renzo Bassani, my father, to which I owe the merit of having left to me this small but precious jewel that is Isola Augusta.

The climate, mitigated by the proximity of the sea, together with the nature of the soils, has made possible, in this belt of the Friulian Coast, the fulfillment of the idea: to obtain a range of wines and sparkling wines highly selected and limited in quantity on purpose, flanked by the production of honey and of olive oil.

The Isola Augusta estate was founded many centuries ago but became property of my family in the 50s.

I am proud to present this modern and at the same time ancient company, that expresses the values of pure tradition.

CANTINA VILLAFRANCA S.r.l.

Quality in tradition. This motto stems from the fact that, with over 110 years of history behind us, tradition is ever-present; quality, for its part, is equally so because we are committed to strictly following the entire production process, from the vineyard to the processing and marketing. Last but not least, the volcanic soils provide the minerality and flavor that are attracting growing public attention. The winery was founded in 1909. Rows, presses, musts, barrels, and bottles are in the family DNA. 1972 Third generation. A further leap in quality occurred in 1972, when Luigi and Renato were replaced by Felice, Luigi's son, and Salvatore, Renato's son, who spearheaded a true corporate transformation, with the acquisition of further land on which native and international grape varieties were planted. A bottling department was also established in the Albano Laziale cellar, one of the first in the Castelli Romani area. Today: State of the Art New distribution channels have allowed growth over the years, both in Italy and around the world. Today, the company, which owns approximately 60 hectares divided into three agricultural estates, vinifies the grapes separately using modern technologies while respecting tradition.

Cascina Castlet Costigliole d'Asti

Costigliole d’Asti is a must, its imposing castle located on the hill top fascinates any tourist from any road it is reached, and if you want to try pleasant experience, once you get near Costigliole, a visit to Cascina Castlet, in the locality of Castelletto, just outside the village, is recommend.

Cascina Castlet is a typical farmhouse, as they used to be in the past, located on the crest of the hill with vineyards on both sides. At first glance there is nothing different from any other farm. Visitors who reach it find Mariuccia and Ada to receive them, can taste the wines, Barbera above all, in all versions, from Goj, joyful and sparkling, to the elegant Passum, but also Moscato, either in its natural fermentation version and in the charming raisin version: Avi.

But there is an element that distinguishes Cascina Castlet, and the visitor notices it right away by looking at the labels, modern, fine even if open–minded, innovative and classic at the same time.

This is Cascina Castlet, the result of the encounter between rural traditions and urban culture of the owner’s family who has lived, studied and worked in the center of Turin in the family wine shop frequented by the upper class and the intellectual elite of the city. When you know it, you better understand the outstanding research that does not stop at the design and the label, but extends in wines.

There is even a wine, Uceline, that is the result of university scientific research and the recovery of a twenty–years–old vine, then endangered, which has allowed this precious wine to exist for now in exclusive company. It is understandable, then, the reason of the kind gestures, you fall in love with the ancient mother who occasionally sits in front of the threshold to take the sunset sun and greets every guest with a smile.

You can admire the modern winery, a jewel of rationality, light, and cleanliness. And we understand that the little table in the little room, where you sit in a few to enjoy a glass of wine, must remain so. It is a matter of seriousness and honesty, reflecting that wines are honest, in price and in its declared identity. A visit that remains in the memory for its simplicity and taking away a bottle means to renew that serene moment.

Casale Mattia Az. Agricola

Casale Mattia is named after the resort of the same name Colle Mattia, a territory, among other things, full of archaeological finds. The company stands on the foundations of an ancient Roman villa, of which today you can see only a tank of water used until a few years ago by the inhabitants of the area.

The company’s project, begun in 1995, aimed at the re–evaluation of the territory through a constant search for the quality of its wines, recovering the traditional and authentic characteristics of Frascati that made it famous in the world.

The wines of Casale Mattia, rich in history and tradition, are the result of a constant commitment that starts in the vineyards, through the recovery of native grape varieties, the use of substances with low environmental impact and an accurate selection of grapes during the harvest fractionated by hand.

The wines thus obtained are then bottled with a sterile plant in cold according to the needs of the market and sold in major world markets. More than 70% of production, in effect, is sold abroad.

Quality, innovation, tradition and service to customers are therefore the main elements of the corporate policy.

Our activity takes place in 25 farms, throughout Italy, from Calabria to Piedmont, from Lazio to Veneto and even beyond the Italian borders, in Romania. Le vigne di Clementina Fabi

The farm "Le Vigne di Clementina Fabi" was born from a family wine tradition; has its origins in the small territory of Montedinove (AP) at the end of the 19th century, when the Fabi family bought some farms there. Here he practices the peasant art by planting the vineyards which, in the descendants, still contribute to produce the grapes from which we obtain our wines. In 2008, after two centuries of exercise at the "genius loci", it was decided to enhance this story: Clementina and her family founded "Le Vigne di Clementina Fabi". Azienda Clementina Fabi Ancient history, modern technology, organic culture: we produce and transform the grapes obtaining products of character because they are grown by interpreting a terroir, unique and unrepeatable like that of Montedinove located in the hinterland of the Marca Picena, a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, feet of the Sibillini Mountains at 600 m asl.

The cellar was founded at the beginning of 1900 in Montalbano, a small territory in the Tuscany region that holds, still intact, all the noble characters of these ancient lands: romantic parish churches and small medieval villages with their towers, extended olive groves and vineyards, dotted by solitary cypresses, elegant and magnificent Medici villas close to laborious farmlands, in the waft of Leonardo da Vinci discrete genius.


The vineyards of Fattoria Betti are grown on clay soil, located 150-200 metres above sea level. Mostly the vineyards are planted to Sangiovese, Cabernet, Trebbiano, Canaiolo Nero and Merlot.
They are cultivated using the spurred cordon systems, and processed through partial grassing and organic fertilizers.
Once optimum ripeness is achieved, all grapes are hand harvested and meticulously sorted.

Our wines are the result of a deep passion and pride for our splendid territory. We
combine modern technologies with the ancient art of winemaking, taking particular care to express regional fruit characteristics with the subtle use of oak.

OUR AIM IS STRAIGHTFORWARD:

Fattoria di Poggiopiano - Galardi

Tuscany has always been a land of great Wines and great Oils... ...not at all "Chianti" is the spark that lights up all over the world the hearts of lovers of the good Cuisine.

And it is right passion for the Land, for good Wine and for Olive Oil that in 1935 led the brothers Carlo and Alberto Galardi, descendants of a family of Florentine merchants, to buy the estate of Poggiopiano.

Mauro is still keen to tell the family management, the desire to do and to be able to build, the commitment to maintain traditions while taking due consideration of all the improvements related to the progress in the wine and olive oil extraction fields, which characterized these years. His plan gives other people the opportunity to share his passion: the land and its fruits, Wine and Oil; to bring joy to those who seek for the tranquility and serenity of the countryside. The same conviction of his predecessors guides Mauro in this project: the pursuit of quality. And like them, he is constantly studying an searching for technological innovations. The traditional family passion for mechanics and his scientific training have been and continue to represent the indispensable complement and support in the realization of his project.





Agriturismo Fattoria di Poggiopiano

The stay in a farmhouse inn allows tourists to relax in pristine environments, to observe closely nature and to discover the genuine and healthy taste of the Tuscan cuisine.

During the renovation of the farmhouse and the barn, as in the construction of the "small Tavern", used as a breakfast room, the goal has always been to create an as healthy as possible environment, in harmony with the environment and respecting the surrounding habitat. Where possible, the basic lines of green building have been followed, involving the use of natural materials and energy–saving systems. Hot water is produced by solar panels and a photovoltaic system on the new winery of the farm produces electricity, with net metering.

Poggiopiano is the place where you will find lots of tranquility, fascinating views of the landscape and a strong appeal to nature and simplicity: you can meet deer, hares, wild boars, squirrels, you can see hawks circling in the sky and fireflies shine in the warm summer evenings. It is the ideal place to get away for a while!

Erminio Campa

For over three generations, continuing the wise experience handed down by Nonno Francesco and Papa Angelo, our company has been producing grapes from the autochthonous vineyards owned in the heart of Salento. The company is located in the province of Taranto, in the municipality of Torricella, a typical area of the Primitivo di Manduria, about 3 km from the Ionian Sea, in the "Li Cameli" and "Li Janni" districts, from which our best are named. wines. The company has a total area of about 20 hectares, and produces exclusively Primitivo di Manduria. The vines, mainly cultivated with “Apulian sapling”, grow on medium-clayey soils and on “red earth” soils, benefit from the sun and a mild and breezy climate; these elements, alone, already favor the production of grapes of the highest quality and important gradations. In addition to the earth and the climate, together with my brothers Francesco and Valentino, we personally take care of the cultivation of the vineyards which is carried out with modern techniques, but with the utmost attention to ecological and biological balances, and with great respect for the environment and for plants. The work in the vineyard is meticulous: after the careful pruning phase, in good time, the bunches are thinned and exposed to the sun to have a selected maximum production of 50-60 quintals per hectare. The harvest is done by hand, with care and delicacy, and with a further meticulous selection of the best bunches. Fermentation, vinification and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks, at a thermo-controlled temperature, and the aging takes place in the bottle for at least six months. Erminio Campa
