Podere Volpaio

At Podere Volpaio they produce Wine, Raisin Wine, Oil and Grappa using all trhough the production process the method of organic farming. “The organic method of cultivation is a clean form of agriculture which excludes the use of synthetic chemicals, pesticides or herbicides”. The soil is fertilized only with organic substances, the vineyards are treated, in a preventive manner, with organic substances harmless to animals and insects and do not leave any toxic residue in the soil and in wine.

The soil of Pliocene origin is rich in marine fossils and is featured by calcareous marl resting on tufa and parts of terrain with mixed sand and clay, an excellent sun exposure, and traditional methods of cultivation and harvest, still manual, allow us to obtain products of high quality with large variations, of great body. The ruby red color is typical of Chianti, with amber highlights more pronounced in the Reserves, pleasant and persistent aromas that give the wines of Podere Volpaio an unmistakable elegance and tipicality, unique in its kind.

Cantina I Mars

The ATEAGRI SS agricultural society, relatively young, administers various activities. Among these, the management of the I MARS Estate, with a winery named Stefano Veritti.

The property covers an area of ​​30 hectares, of which 15 are planted with vineyards, according to the most modern wine–growing techniques. In the cellar, recently renovated, wines of genuine taste that express the flavor of tradition are produced. In the renovated shop you can taste and purchase the typical wines of Friulian production, from the characteristic white Friulano to the full–bodied Refosco.

Vigne Del Malina

In Friuli Venezia Giulia, a land rich in waterways, among others, two streams flow: Malina and Ellero, which in a singular point of the Grave, have unpredictably designed a form of glass. This is the kingdom of Vigne Del Malina.
The Grave identify a wide area stretching from Pordenone to Udine, characterized by rocky surfaces, of alluvial origin, to form a special habitat with distinctive characteristics and a unique microclimate. From the pre–Alpine valleys you can enjoy a fresh ventilation. The stones absorb the heat of the day and release it slowly at night: this natural temperature range is a fundamental process in the creation of flavors and aromas typical of the local wines. This same excellence is reflected in the Vineyards of Malina, a wine reality that does not chase the big quantity, but high quality.

Villa Pasini Vianelli, purchased and renovated by the Bacchetti family in 1967, is located in the center of the estate and all around is surrounded by 150 hectares of land cultivated with love, in which the vines breathe, occupying only a small part. The values of the farm ​​are based on simple genuineness, to return to the origins, to taste, to aroma, to the structure and especially to the body that distinguishes each particular variety: wines of character, such as red wines; wines that are clean and very fragrant, like the white wines; full&bodied and enveloping wines, like the Macerati.

Simplicity is found, then, in the processing, with times dictated by nature. The vineyards are managed in an eco–friendly way, with frequent manual intervention, excluding chemical herbicides. The harvest is realized without the help of machines. Skilled hands capture and place with care each cluster in a box, when in late ripeness. To follow, a wise and quiet refinement takes place, until every bottle, lying for months, is properly matured.

Corte Fornaledo

In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, the "Corte Fornaledo" winery was founded. Giacomo and Francesco, the Borghetti brothers, have in their barrels distinctive wines of the Valpolicella Classica that are aging and soon will be ready to be enjoyed.

From the 2009 vintage, we have started a new path.

We started making wine with a part of our grapes producing our classic wines (Amarone Classico Riserva, Amarone Classico, Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso, Valpolicella Classico Superiore and Recioto Classico). In March 2011 we sold our first "Recioto della Valpolicella Classico 2009" and in May 2011 our "Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2009" will be ready, too.



In our small way, we have always been sensitive to the environment in which we live every day, in respect of health and also in respect of those less fortunate than others. Already in the 80s our dad Giovanni Battista Borghetti had turned to African students for various seasonal jobs in the country (he was a true precursor) and now we are in close cooperation with the social cooperative Pantarei that deals with giving new possibilities to political refugee children, especially from Africa.

But our sensitivity has reached a milestone when we made the labels of our wines by entering part of the text in Braille for blind people (already visible on all our bottles of Recioto 2009).

Fattoria del Piccione

“La Fattoria del Piccione” is located on the first hills of the Rimini area (150 meters above sea level) and a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, it produces wine vinifying mainly selected grapes coming from its own vineyards (direct management), controlled and followed applying modern winemaking techniques of pest control (Reg. CEE2078/92). The composition of the soil is of medium solidity, that has always been suited to viticulture. The mirco–climate conditions are excellent, thanks to the influence of the sea.

I Capitani

I Capitani Società Agricola is a boutique winery that focuses on producing high-quality wines using sustainable farming practices. The winery boasts a range of carefully-selected grape varieties, and through their careful attention to detail, they produce wines that are full of flavor and character. Azienda Vitivinicola Ligios Sebastiano

In the small barrel there is Ligios wine: small numbers and high quality.



In the north of Sardinia, between the Asinara gulf and the mountains of Gallura, flourishing vineyards of the Ligios winery grow, in the valley between the towns of Valledoria and Castelsardo. Here, time seems to stand still: a corner of land in the sun and aired by the sea breeze, where the marl and clay soil provides the perfect nourishment for the cultivation of the vine.



A company, the Ligios winery, which knows to be small and boasts, since it manages to preserve all the characteristics that make it valuable: small size and family management, where each member has a task and an appropriate specialization; manual processing of the various stages of production, during which also external agronomists and oenologists are involved; an attentive dedication to the quality of wine bottles distributed among restaurateurs, wine stores and directly to consumers, consciously avoiding to exceed in amount and to achieve large–scale retail trade. A bold choice, without any doubt admirable and certainly advantageous, at least for the goodness of wine.

Consorzio Tutela Vini D'acqui

Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Acqui was founded in 1992 in Acqui Terme with the purpose of controlling and regulating the growth of this wine and protect the land, planning its production, encouraging its marketing with a strong commitment to promoting and enhancing it on global markets.

In addition to Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG, the Consortium is also in charge of the protection of Dolcetto DOC. The Consortium was the main promoter of the contribution of the DOCG to Bracchetto d’Acqui, obtained in 1996, which defined more precisely even from the legal and administrative point of view the peculiarities of this wine clearly distinguishing it from other productions. Brachetto d’Acqui remains one of the few wines to be awarded by the Italian Government with the Controlled Designation of Origin Guaranteed.

All the bottles are subjected to an inspection of tasting before getting the watermark numbered band which proves their origin, supported by a careful control of the Consortium of Protection that programs and enhances its marketing with a strong commitment to promoting and enhancing in global markets.

Consorzio Tutela Vini d'Asti e del Monferrato

In the Piedmont wine panorama, domestic and foreign, the importance of the Consortium for the Protection of Wines of Asti and Monferrato is proportional to that of the territory it represents, and of the DOC and DOCG wines produced there.



In effect, its activity concerns a productive area of secular tradition and renowned excellence, involving about 170 companies representing all components of the supply chain: farms, wineries, wine producers, cooperative wineries, bottlers.



The wines that are part of the Consortium are the DOCG Barbera d’Asti, Barbera del Monferrato Superiore, Ruche del Monferrato and the Albugnano DOCs, Barbera del Monferrato, Cortese dell’AAlto Monferrato, Dolcetto d’Asti, Freisa d’Asti, Loazzolo, Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco, and Piedmont.



Briefly, the purposes and tasks of the Consortium consist in:



activities for the protection, enhancement and promotion of the image and the knowledge of the wines that refer to the same entity in Italy and in the world;

the proposal for the revision and adaptation of the production rules to new production requirements;

the production management and the definition of the government policies of the offers, to safeguard the quality of the product and contribute to a better coordination of the introduction in the market;

activities of market supervision and control of the compliance of wines with the provisions of the different regulations of production, in collaboration with national and regional authorities responsible for verifying the compliance with the laws and disciplines;

supervisory activities on the using of the names of the protected DOP wines, licensure, and enter into a civil lawsuit in the event of improper use;

promotion and implementation of studies and initiatives in the field of viticulture and winemaking and marketing, aimed at improving the production and to encourage the marketing of wine;

information and assistance regarding the fulfillment of the rules and regulations in force;

promotion of agreements and cooperation with other economic operators, agencies, industry bodies and chain operators, institutions.

Consorzio Tutela Vini Doc Friuli Aquileia

In 1975, by the will of a small group of producers, the designation of origin “Vini DOC Friuli Aquileia” (Friuli Aquileia DOC Wines) is recognized. Its territory is developed in a long, narrow strip that from Aquileia, through Cervignano del Friuli, reaches the bastions of Palmanova and continues to Trivignano Udinese including 16 municipalities.



The Voluntary Consortium for the Protection of the Designation of Controlled Origin, founded in 1976, has been working for several years with achievement in the wine industry, and today encompasses most of the winemaking companies in the area.



The statutory tasks of the Consortium are to defend and protect the production of Friuli Aquileia DOC Wines, to organize activities of promotion, to provide technical assistance and to collaborate with public and private institutions for controls and experimentations.



The Consortium is part of the Aquileia DOC Wine Route Association and of E.VI.Q.–Ente Vini di Qualità–, association of Consortia of the Province of Udine, which aims to enhance, promote, and protect the development of wine of its territory.

Tami Vini

Azienda Agricola Zaccomer Maurizio

The Zaccomer company was founded in the 60s with Valentino, father of the current owner Maurizio, who now runs the company, preserving the characteristics of the family management and the ancient traditions of Friuli to make good wine, but adopting modern technologies.

The gradual expansion of the planted area, the relocation of the native grape varieties present, the renovation of the basement in order to adapt it to new production requirements are an important sign of the dynamism of this company. Great passion for Ramandolo leads Maurizio Zaccomer to improve the drying techniques and the use of wood for aging.

Important red wines, such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schiopettino are fined in oak barrels.
