For over three generations, continuing the wise experience handed down by Nonno Francesco and Papa Angelo, our company has been producing grapes from the autochthonous vineyards owned in the heart of Salento. The company is located in the province of Taranto, in the municipality of Torricella, a typical area of the Primitivo di Manduria, about 3 km from the Ionian Sea, in the "Li Cameli" and "Li Janni" districts, from which our best are named. wines. The company has a total area of about 20 hectares, and produces exclusively Primitivo di Manduria. The vines, mainly cultivated with “Apulian saplingâ€, grow on medium-clayey soils and on “red earth†soils, benefit from the sun and a mild and breezy climate; these elements, alone, already favor the production of grapes of the highest quality and important gradations. In addition to the earth and the climate, together with my brothers Francesco and Valentino, we personally take care of the cultivation of the vineyards which is carried out with modern techniques, but with the utmost attention to ecological and biological balances, and with great respect for the environment and for plants. The work in the vineyard is meticulous: after the careful pruning phase, in good time, the bunches are thinned and exposed to the sun to have a selected maximum production of 50-60 quintals per hectare. The harvest is done by hand, with care and delicacy, and with a further meticulous selection of the best bunches. Fermentation, vinification and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks, at a thermo-controlled temperature, and the aging takes place in the bottle for at least six months. Erminio Campa
The company of the Earl Spagnoletti Zeuli has ancient roots, which date back to before 1600.
In the heart of the countryside surrounding Castel del Monte, the Earl of Andria, with a modern entrepreneurial verve and investments in technology and research, dedicates to vines and olive trees an authentic worship.
The agricultural company of Conte Spagnoletti Zeuli products DOC Castel del Monte Wines (Nero di Troia, Montepulciano, Aglianico, Bombino, Pampanuto etc.) and IGT Murgia (Fiano), DOP Terra di Bari subzone Castel del Monte extra virgin olive oil and 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil.
San Domenico and Zagaria are the two estates of the agricultural company of the Earl Spagnoletti Zeuli, in total almost 400 hectares in Agro di Andria, in the province of Bari. Most are dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees, while the foothills are destined to vineyards cultivated in rows of Bombino Nero di Montepulciano and Troia, grape varieties from which the Castel del Monte, glory of the local oenology, is made.
Fostered by a calcareous soil and a mild climate, dry and sunny even in winter, the culture of olive tree growing is practiced with the typical “vaso impalcato” system, with plants 3 to 5 meters high, emptied in the middle, as dictated by the local tradition established in the centuries. They breed, in this way, olives of Coratina and Cima di Bitonto types, the pride of the production typical of the northern area of the province of Bari, that through a clever processing of olives give an oil of great value and excellent organoleptic qualities.
The company has recently designed 6 hectares to experimental nurseries for the adaptation of Leccino and Frantoio, with monocone cultivation: a method that facilitates pruning and mechanical harvesting.
All olive groves are backed by drop irrigation plants, able to relieve each plant with 16 liters of water per hour.
the Primis Farm was founded in 2003 in Stornarella, in the province of Foggia, by two young engineers, Nicola Selano, agronomist, and Gianni Mauriello, enotechnician. Conceptually, Primis stands for "primordial", meaning a simple and natural approach with vines and wine: in contrast to the reference zone, in which the vineyard is grown with Puglia canopy management with very high yields per hectare, the Primis Farm runs a small fortune of espalier ("a controspalliera") vineyards, planted and carried out with the most modern viticultural techniques.
In addition, the Primis Farm growns native grape varieties like Bombino Bianco, Greco, Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Ciliegiolo and Aglianico and grafts in the field cuttings taken from the best vineyards in the area, not to mention the rooting capacity of certain international varieties like Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.
In the wine cellar, then, you can breathe the same air of research and investigation of the vineyards. It is all very modern, in reduced scale (the largest reservoir is of only 100 hl) but extremely essential.
La Regia Dogana is a farming estate in Puglia producing wines and its name refers to Alfonso I of Aragona.
Since World War II the descendants of the Lacerenza family moved into the territory that now is the seat of their vineyards.
Castello Monaci, an estate whose features blend with the lines of the place in which it stands: Salento. A land between two seas, of peculiar geometries and countless figures representing nature.
The vineyards of Castello Monaci, 150 hectares, surround the castle and the winery. We prefer the native varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. The innovation and technology in the wine cellar are very sophisticated and cutting edge. And then the barrel cellar, carved out of the solid rock, is a natural thermal insulation, with a backdrop of over a thousand French oak barrels. Shadows and outlines are drawn by the light.
It is 1665. Among the fertile vineyards of the time, Duke Oronzo Arcangelo Maria Francesco Count of Lemos (nephew of Ferrante and Francisco, both Spanish viceroys in Italy), founds the winery.
The winery begins the bottling of its products with Piero and Lisetta Leone Castris in 1925.
In 1943 the Five Roses is created, the most famous product of the company and the first rosé wine to be bottled and sold in Italy and immediately exported to the United States.
The story of this family and of the winery continues. The Knight of Labour Salvatore Leone de Castris, son of Piero and Lisetta, continues towards a significant improvement also at the international level of the company. For several years his son, Mr. Piernicola, has been directing it. More and more prestigious recognitions are constantly attributed to the full range of the company.
The winery offers a varied range of products: red, white, rosé interesting DOC wines, Salento and Puglia IGT wines, sparkling rosé and white wines; a brandy and a particularly fine oil.
The Al Bano Carrisi Winery, now belonging to the elite of wine, offers a line of products of unquestionable quality.
Al Bano, citizen of the world, has always remained tied to its origins, in Cellino San Marco, to the family estate.
The characteristics of the soil and the strict respect for local traditions, guarantee the excellent quality of our grapes produced in accordance with the rules of organic farming.
Expert agronomists and oenologists follow each stage of production, from harvest to aging in oak barrels.
Traditional grape varieties are privileged, with winemaking and cutting–edge methods.
Today the wines of Al Bano are distributed in every corner of the world, sometimes accompanied by labels that remind of the greatest songs.

In the heart of the Taranto area, thanks to the stubbornness of Dario Cavallo, the Mille Una winery has been founded. The production is based on 30 hectares of land owned and under management. Much of the land is planted close to the sea in the best suited land of "Primitivo" di Manduria and this happens in the towns of Sava, Lizzano and Maruggio.
The territory is characterized by red soil, rich in minerals and iron sesquioxide that give it its characteristic color. The vineyards are characterized by non–irrigated trees and an average age of 30 years with a peak of 50/60 years in the reserves.
Passion, courage and confidence of the enormous qualitaty potential that Puglia and in particular the areas of Castel del Monte and Salento can express, are the elements that have driven the Antinori family to invest in this region. The basic idea on which, from the outset, the production philosophy of Tornaresca is based, is to produce great wines from native grapes of Puglia, most of the vineyards which compose the company, grown in effect with traditional grapes, some of them dating back to the civilization of Ancient Greece and strongly rooted in the land: Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano, Aglianico and Nero di Troia.
Tornaresca, therefore, promotes the great quality potential inherent in each of these varieties, often adequately valued and appreciated, but capable of giving wines of great personality, typical, structured but at the same time modern and pleasant.
Mater Domini Estates was founded in 2003 by the synthesis of an entrepreneurial project by Pierandrea Serneraro, oriented to the enhancement of the agricultural and food resources of Salento, in particular wine and oil.
The concept of quality of the company is based on modern methods of agricultural production, with extreme attention to innovation, being aware of its roots.
Quality is not a subjective parameter, but a philosophy of striving for perfection, trying not to miss any detail and working with nature in the production of a single product.
The Salento peninsula, characterized by the influence of the two seas, is an excellent field of application and testing of the concept of terroir, ranging from climate and soil characteristics to those of the grape varieties, and also includes the peculiarities linked to the territory and especially to wine tradition.
A story that began twenty years ago, made of love for the land, passion for quality and competence of management. Cantine Due Palme, a cooperative company founded in 1989 in Cellino San Marco, in the province of Brindisi in high Salento, the project of Angelo Maci, the third generation of a family of winemakers, who with perseverance and dedication have made of this company one of the largest and most active cooperative complexes in Puglia and Southern Italy.
The company aims to enhance its own vineyards of ancient trees, to obtain a raw material of absolute concentration.
As a result, Old Vines, a single variety Primitivo of higher rank, is obtained by the selection of the best grapes in the over 75 years old vineyard, in which we have now added the new cru “La Signora”, the expression of an elegant style and at the same time representative of the typicality of Primitivo.
Finally, Primitivo Malbek is the result of an innovative blend and is pleasant to drink already when young, while showing a good development over time.
A long family tradition that has always had its roots in agriculture. Filippo Cassano, in 2003, wanted to develop an ambitious project aimed to enhance Primitivo and other native vines in the production of quality wines. He bought and restored a historic manor farm located in the Marchesana area, a district of Gioia del Colle, which, between 1860 and 1880, already welcomed stretches of fine saplings of Primitivo.
The name POLVANERA stems from the characteristic dark color of the land surrounding the farm. Annexed to the manor farm, the modern winery. Really welcoming in its rustic elegance is the tasting room.
The structure of the wine cellar is carved into the rock and reaches about 8 feet deep. Of karst formation, its constant temperature and humidity throughout the year constitute the fundamental characteristics of utility and beauty. In this place, the wines of Polvanera mature, refine and rest, those wines that, together with other leading producers, have become the Brand of reference of te DOC Primitivo Gioia del Colle.
The harvest takes place the second week of September. Modern facilities of pressing and vinification contribute to the implementation of the Organic aim of the company, that draws on the expertise of Filippo Cassano, oenologist for passion, along with his valuable employees, who treat with absolute dedication the whole world of the winery.
We are located in High Salento, in the Carovigno area, where we have conceived the idea to create wines without using local vines, but to venture into something different and challenging.
With the support of Riccardo Cotarella, internationally renowned winemaker, we wanted to test the adaptation to the climate of Puglia and to these territories – a few kilometers from the sea – of non–local grapes.
Then, we planted 11 hectares of vineyards with Montepulciano, Aglianico and Petit Verdot grapes.
We adopted more slow and complex disciplinary, both in the treatment of soils (which were dug out, fertilized and rested) and the vineyard with only 400 vines per hectare, and in the maintenance of vines, mainly by hand and with dense thinning, so that to produce a bottle it is necessary to use grapes produced with three plants.
Lunachiena, Merula, Sorma Frauma, and Sierma are red wines that are appreciated for their individual olfactory nuances and for their important structure. Merula Rosa is a rosé of Provencal style, fresh and fruity.
Ours is a niche production, amounting to 35 thousand bottles per year.
Our wine comes from here. In the most wild and rugged part of the north–western part of Murgia, in a land where the history of mankind merges with the colors of nature.
Stone shapes the landscape, and is the undisputed queen of the environment, cluttered with stone walls, small houses, jazzi and rural churches. Sunny landscapes, however, are soften by aligned crops, fruit of the labor of man and of the austere beauty of a big lone oak. The contours of the hills are gentle, the autumn colors are warm, the small berries of the land north of Puglia are fragrant. Here our estate is located, just a few steps from the stunning harmonies of Castel del Monte, in the “Torre del Vento” district, where an ancient monastery of the eighteenth century, surrounded by 200 hectares of land, has been home to the heart of the company since 1948, the year in which the brothers Francesco and Domenico Liantonio bought the Torrevento Estate continuing the activity of producing wines that had seen its beginnings in 1920 in Palo del Colle.
Since then, a winemaking tradition of rural character has been handed down from generation to generation, and even today is the strength of our company.
In a rough and stony land, we recover and enhance native grape varieties suited to express the viticulture vocation of the whole territory of Puglia.
Large wine cellars carved into the rock of the Benedictine monastery preserve our precious wine, that ages in precious oak barrels and small barriques, according to the ancient local winemaking traditions, which today combine by more gentle winemaking techniques.
