Rasciatano is an extremely well–known company for the production of extra–virgin olive oil, but in recent years it is becoming known for the production of quality wines.
Pietraventosa is a Young company, but well established in the vinegrowing and winemaking panorama of Puglia. Its production consists of a limited number of wines, all organic and coming from native vines.
Augusto founded Cantine Cantele in 1979, along with his father and his brother Domenico. The company has been bottling wine since the early nineties, when it decided to buy a few hectares of vines and to produce the first Cantele wines.
Azienda Agricola Giuseppe Attanasio continues with passion the traditions of a typical family of winemakers of Salento. Since 2000, the Primitivo grapes have been coming, harvested with traditional method and derived exclusively from vineyards owned, approximately 6 hectares of Puglia "bush vines" of the Manduria countryside, personally overseen by Giuseppe Attanasio with an experience of over seventy years.
The project consists in the development of Vineyard Puglia, to say, in the research, winemaking and marketing on an international scale of autochthonous regional vines.
The fixed point which characterizes the company in its activities, is the constant commitment in updating and researching in the industry, to understand the market changes and adapt the characteristics of the production to the tastes of the public without betraying the typicality of wines and especially the peculiarities of the grapes that they characterise.
The Le Vigne di Sammarco company is located in Cellino San Marco, a small rural town in the heart of Salento. The company is represented by the new generation of the Rizzello family, which for decades has been one of the most productive realities, known and established in the industrial district of Salento.
Tenuta Merico was founded in 2001; the winery, of new construction, presents the best technologies available for vinification, storage and aging of wine. Care for the vines, the accurate selection of grapes and the winemaking conducted according to traditional patterns and followed at every stage by the Merico family, harvest after harvest, carried out in boxes to prevent advance fermentation that could ruin the finished product, guarantee the high quality of the product.
Apollonio is a winery that has been going on for four generations, and deserved the title of Historic Enterprise of Italy.
The vineyards, located in an ideal area, of warm weather, follow the rhythm marked by the lunar cycles. The guidelines of the company are: a rigorous selection of grapes and wines, the use of cutting–edge technologies, the creation of new products that meet the demands of the most demanding consumers.
