This historic estate, founded in 1922, comprises approximately 16 hectares of vineyards, including 9 DOC/DOCG vineyards, all located in prime production sites, defined as the FIRST ZONE. This historic 18th-century farmhouse comprises: a production area complete with top-of-the-line equipment, barrels, and vineyard machinery; a visitor area with splendid caves carved into the rock; offices; a small apartment; and approximately 800 square meters of structures to be completed as a charming agritourism facility. Furthermore, approval for an additional 1,000 square meters is pending. The property was created from the renovation of an old 18th-century farmhouse, once dedicated to wine production, the only example of this activity in the Vulture area. In the Piano Regio area, there are other buildings that, once completed, could be converted into a high-end agritourism facility (the proximity to Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019, about a half-hour drive away, is crucial). It is a historic company, founded in 1922 by my grandfather, which sells most of the grapes (all DOC certified) and processes a smaller portion. The ground floor, intended for wine processing and storage, is well equipped for the activity. In fact, the photos show the state of the premises and the related equipment such as the bottling machine, steel tanks, oak barrels, various machinery and equipment for the grapes, press, tractor, etc. The ground floor, intended for tasting, is furnished with fine antique furniture and special finishes, which make the environment welcoming, comfortable and perfectly suited to the context: the stay is therefore pleasant for the numerous company visits in the summer (up to 50 people per day).
