The Bisson wines were created in the early days of 1978 when Pierluigi Lugano, master of art and expert sommelier, aware of the opportunities that he sensed to be hidden in the rugged wines of the Ligurian peasants, decided to enhance the grapes of the Riviera del Levante area.
He started to buy small lots of grapes by farmers throughout the area and to make wine in their wine cellar carrying on, with modern techniques of winemaking, a number of experiments to understand how to deal with local grapes.
The excellent results obtained made it possible to revive native Ligurian wines that had now practically disappeared, such as the Bianchetta Genovese and Ciliegiolo and to create new ideas such as Musaico, a red wine with a strong personality.
After a few years spent vinifying the grapes purchased, conscious of the fact that wine is made in the vineyard, he decided to plant vineyards on his own, in order to achieve full control of the process of quality in his wines.
The cultivation in strict limitation of pesticides is the latest challenge that is being carried out, with great conviction, in vineyards to guarantee quality and genuineness.
A lot of experience, the result of more than a hundred harvests, has led the Zeni company to focus on some basic concepts. The land, which brings out the true soul of the grapes. The winemaker, synthesis of the high potentiality that resides in the "man, land and vine" trinomial.
Winemaking, attentive and punctual, respecting the varietal characteristics. In this context, the Sort has been enhanced by fermentation in wood and "sur lie" maturation. Rossara is always very good and intriguing. Ororosso is still in maturation.
Cantina Vivallis is a winery that produces high-quality wines using traditional methods and modern technology. They source their grapes from select vineyards and carefully monitor the winemaking process to ensure the best possible flavors and aromas. They offer a range of red, white, and sparkling wines that are enjoyed by wine enthusiasts around the world.
Currently, the company is led by Filippo Scienza with his wife Barbara.
His knowledge, derived from studies carried out at the Agricultural Institute of San Michele all’Adige, the Centre de Formation Professionnelle et de Promotion Agricole de Beaune in Bargogna and at the School of Agriculture, Purdue University, California USA, his practice, always carried out in the Vallarom farmstead of the family but also in Italian and foreign wineries, combined both with his extraordinary ability to be on the same wavelength with the rhythms of the countryside, with his passion and, why not, with his extravagance, and with an excellent land with the right microclimate, that led him to obtain good results with highly drinkable wines, but with personality and character, and with an excellent value for money.
In effect, from the vineyards and the wine cellar of Filippo eight wines are made, all recognizable for their naturalness and character, reflecting in this way the personality of the producer.
The flagship wine is, without a doubt, Campi Sarni Red, classic Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot), awarded several times with AIS "5 Grappoli", flanked by Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir: then, there are the Cabernet Sauvignon in single–variety, with its overbearing nature, and the cheerful Vadum Caesaris, a cutting of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, the particular and rare Syrah, a grape native of Persia. And finally, being in the company located in Vallagarina, Marzemino could not miss, a very pimp wine, and Moscato Giallo vinified dry.
The wines produced in the Agrarian Institute were created from a deep understanding of the interactions between the environment, the soil and the vine, and Edmund Mach, founder in 1874 of the structure, was firmly convinced about that and said: «no wine of quality is fruit of chance, but of a synergy between land, the art of the winery and man».
The phrase stands on the bottles as everlasting memory. The winery is housed in the old Augustinian monastery inside the castle of San Michele. The cultivated land, instead, are property of the Autonomous Province of Trento and of the De Bellat Foundation, which have sold them to the farm respectively on a free extended loan and rent. On these grounds, the company cultivates grapes and apple trees with not only productive aims, but also experimental, of teaching and demonstration. But, in addition to producing good wines, the Edmund Mach Foundation has become a real fixture, a great training center from which a large number of oenologists, now widely established, learned the rudiments. Regarding the production in this edition, we are facing a transient vintage, maybe. Many wines are still in aging, lacking the two of the Monastery, white and red, Trento Riserva Mach and other wines from a single grape variety. In full swing, and very prolific, is the activity of distillation: waiting for the wines you can enjoy a large selection of brandies and other spirits.
One of the youngest companies, appeared in Trento a few “harvests” ago and already among the most important of the new course of the Trentino wine. All this thanks to the intuition and great skills of Eugenio Rosi, histrionic winemaker, revolutionary viticulturist, cellarman that subverts procedures and wine techniques exclusively to obtain a wine as natural as possible.
Ours is a small family business, located in S. Massenza in the Valley of the Lakes a few kilometers from Trento towards Riva del Garda, where the distilling tradition is centuries–old, witness of this are the five distilleries still operating out of the thirteen historical spread in the area. Thanks to the special microclimate suitable for the cultivation of vines, the company in addition to the distillation dedicates part of its work to the production of wine, the gem of Vino Santo, who was created by the native Nosiola grapes.
The initiation rite to the love for wine.
For centuries, in the traditions and culture of these hills of Valdobbiadene, the extra–canonical rite of the “Batiso col vin Prosecco” took place. The godfathers of babies, or the grandfathers, after the baptism in the church, brought children to the tavern to moisten their lips with a touch of prosecco to initiate them to the authentic passion for wine.
From this authentic tradition the name of our Prosecco comes: Batiso, precisely. It is the symbol of a true passion for our land and for its unique, inimitable and authentic fruit.
Surrounded by a quaint and charming amphitheater of vineyards overlooking South Tyrol, where all the grapes of the company are processed, Maso Villa Warth is located, that in the past was an austere Bishop’s house surrounded by a small village, now beautifully renovated.
These ancient walls and rich in history are hosting all the buildings of the Maso Villa Warth farm: our winery of Trentino wines is a small but cozy farmhouse inn not far from Trento that provides a residence service and a large banquet hall, with a pleasant environment dedicated to the tasting of Trentino Doc of our production and to meetings in which the traditional flavors of regional cuisine are shared, as has always been the tradition of the wineries in Trentino.
In our winery we produce the classic wines of Trentino Doc and we are committed to make that the quality of our products is always the best. What makes our wines so special is the attention we devote to our fields, land and environment, which are the main sources through which you can make the best Trentino Doc wine.
The plots that are located in areas with a greater commitment allow our company to produce wines coveted by every winery in Trentino. For example, the area of Sorni is ideal for full–bodied red wines (Cabernet, Merlot and Teroldego), that of Giovo for white wines with sparkling base (Müller Thurgau and Chardonnay), while Maso Villa Warth in Gardolo di Mezzo is particularly suitable for white Riesling, Muscat yellow and Chardonnay, and the red wines, Lagrein.
MASO POLI Azienda Agricola is a family-owned winery that produces high-quality wines made from a variety of grapes. It is a very small business reality in the Trentino wine scene, with its 4 hectares of vineyard. But the quality of the wine produced is inversely proportional to the size of the company. From suppliers to the Cooperative Winery of Mezzacorona to the choice of vinifying grapes on their own, in order to obtain admirably characterized wines, with a strong recognizability of the variety of departure. An applaud goes to the company as a whole for the remarkable kindness of all, absolutely all, the wines in production. Wines that are reliable, structured, perfumed, never banal.
Maso Cantanghel is a small but significant winemaking business in Trentino. It is located at the foot of the chain of Lagorai on the Trento hills. The environment is of medium–to–high hill (about 460 meters above sea level) where it is located, the nature of the soil and the favorable exposure combined with an optimal thermal situation, are natural elements that have allowed us to develop a high–quality viticulture.
This is combined with a rational winemaking technique, land development, the selection of clones and rootstocks, the type of farming, a scrupulous and careful winemaking technology.
Currently, the surface area cultivated with vines of Maso Cantanghel is of 5 hectares, the winery is set in an old Austrian fort of 1868 rich in charm and of undeniable historical interest. Built between 1868 and 1876 on the road of Valsugana, it was part of a fortified complex aimed to close the access to Trento from the east. In fact, it was a "tagliata" (road interruption) of the only way since the early years of the twentieth century. Here, the Altinate branch of the Roman road Claudia Augusta passed. It was renovated before World War I and later became a powder keg. Today it houses the cellar of the farm melting in it a centuries–old history and a great interest in the preservation of Trentino’s typicality.

Azienda Agricola Grigoletti was founded many decades ago by the love of great–grandfather Federico for wines of great quality, which the ancient peasant tradition of Trentino has been able to pass down through the centuries.
Over time grandfather Ampelio and now the winemakers Bruno, Aida, Carmelo and Marica, with passion and tenacity pursuit the noble art of farming to produce for you, for your wishes, wines capable of strong emotions that continue the story.
The wine is made exclusively in our country, after a heavy pruning of the vines, with loving care given to the grapes grown slowly in the sun, together with the numerous thinnings carried out during the season.
The right period for the harvest, together with the measured time of maturation of the wine in the cellar, have created a special nectar which has costed us a lot of trouble, but that we present you with pride.
In Trentino, in a country by a name full of poetry and of an ancient past, Rover della Luna, near Mount Gaier, immersed in the vineyards, the Gaierhof company operates selecting the best grapes to make wine and produce great wine, the fruit of knowledge about wine, technology and passion.
Gaierhof is the story of three generations of the Togn family, which began in 1943 with Germano Togn, father of Luigi, who drives the company today flanked by his three daughters, Romina, Martina, Valentina and son Goffredo Pasolli.
This winemaking vocation has deep roots in Trentino winery traditions and in the expertise that has been handed down from father to son, getting richer each time, starting with the first grape–grower in the Togn family.
