The small village of Pressano is situated on a sunny and airy hillside, just north of Lavis, surrounded by a beautiful expanse of vineyards.
In a rural residence of the seventeenth century, in the historical center of the village, my father Giuseppe began to take his first steps in his activity of winemaker, owning a small plot of land and using the cellars of our house.
Since 1991, I am, Alessandro, to look after the care of the vines and winemaking.
After their studies at the Agricultural Institute of San Michele, I worked to exploit the limited resources at my disposal, with the aim to transform the small size of the company in my point of strength.
In the countryside, I recovered the art of the farmer, re–evaluating old farming practices, fundamental to improve the quality of grapes and wine.
In the winery I vinify white grapes of Incrocio Manzoni, Nosiola, Chardonnay, and red grapes of Teroldego, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, with expert workmanship and long waits from fermentation to fining in the bottle.
Taking care personally of the countryside and of the wine cellar, allows me to blend tradition with modern oenological knowledge. In this way, authentic wines of character, texture, fragrance, freshness and vitality are created, which can express the typicality of their land of origin: Trentino.
Established winegrowers, in business already in 1751, when wine was a relief from an effort that seemed hopeless. Good years, encouraging stimuli, giving "time to time". Interpreting the climate – vines disposed in the sun, the wind that blows from Lake Garda and that ideally connects remote areas: the low Sarca with the hills of Pressano di Lavis, a breeze tamed by the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella – and adapting the territory. Where now the new generations of the Cesconi family work with renewed enthusiasm. Respecting the character of our ancestors.
Here, then, there are the vineyards adjacent to the new winery, on a slope projected into the Cembra Valley, orderly and accurate rows, embedded in the protected landscape typical of Paganella, the mountain symbol of a highly suited to vine Trentino region. And then – in respect of individual environmental peculiarities and agronomic choices made by the family – the vine rows of the estate of Drò, in the Valley of Lakes, are mitigated by the nearby Lake Garda and are ideally united to Pressano by the healing power of the Ora: the afternoon wind that rises from the shores of Lake Garda.
Two zones, different, are deliberately cultivated to produce equally diverse wines. The white grape varieties are planted only on the slopes at high altitude, lands raised by atavistic confluences between the rivers Adige and Avisio. And the vines reserved to long–lived red wines, deep–rooted in clay plants, silt and sand of glaciations linked to Lake Garda.

Cesarini Sforza Spumanti Spa is a renowned winery that produces high-quality sparkling wines. The Monfort wineries is a company founded in 1945 by Giovanni Simoni, grandfather of Lorenzo, the current manager, based in Lavis, a beautiful town north of Trento, always at the center of wine production in Trentino. The winery is situated in one of the most characteristic frames of the old town of Lavis: Monfort palace, formerly the residence of Counts De Melchiori. Here, our quality wines are produced, the fruit of an experience of winemakers of Trentino grapes, under the supervision of expert oenologists.
The grapes for the wines of Cantine Monfort come from vineyards with the best exposure to the Cembra Valley and the hills above Lavis and Trento, partly owned and partly of winemakers that are carefully chosen for the high quality of their products and is strictly followed in all stages of cultivation by the experts of the Monfort wineries.
The knowledge, care and love for wines have rewarded the Monfort wineries with several reports on Italian and German specialized journals and numerous awards at international level, among which, the "Mark of the Brotherhood" of Trento, the "International Competition at Expo"of Milan, the " Vinitaly International Wine Competition", the Wine Master of Estoril (P) and the International Wine Challenge in London. For us it is important that each bottle reflects the winery in which it was produced and that the attention with which we treat the healthiness of the vineyard, is the same that we put in the protection of our environment of everyday life.
The attention to detail is the result of a valuable work of the group, where the presence of Andrea Cristelloni in the vineyard and of Matteo Ferrari in the cellar, are an integral part of our exciting project. Our signature is, therefore, a concrete reality in every single Maso Martis bottle.
Founded in 1931, the Rotaliana Winery of Mezzolombardo is an interesting social reality which, in its history, has known how to develop and renovate constantly thanks to a perfect combination of innovation and tradition.
The decision to combine the old and the new is proved to be a winning choice that till today inspires the corporate culture of the cellar; a culture that credits great value to the origins of the wine and its history, but at the same time looks to the future.
The Vineyard of production of the Rotaliana Winery of Mezzolombardo, which represents for Trentino the Teroldego house, is located largely in Piana Rotaliana. Crossing this area to reach the ski slopes of the near plateau of the Paganella or to spend a few days in the Brenta Dolomites, surrounded by forests and alpine lakes, do not miss the opportunity to know the Teroldego Rotaliano, its land and its people, bound together by a unbreakable bond.
The Pacherhof Estate, dating back to 1142 and run by the Huber family, is located in Novacella, a little bit over Bressanone where, on a surface of 8 hectares, the oenologist Andreas Huber cultivates excellent white grapes, which presses in the winery of property of the farm, to sell them personally, after.
Vineyards located in the best positions, gravel soils rich in minerals and special microclimates, are the natural potential of Pacherhof. The peculiarities of this area and the desire of Andreas Huber, the owner’s son, of pursuiting without compromise the best quality, are the secret of these refined and of character white wines.
The Huber family presses grapes in his basement, where the clusters are gently pressed and then are carefully kept in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, becoming the nectar of the gods. Before being sold, these noble drops rest, up to ten months, in oak barrels, and for more months in the bottle.

The Caldaro Winery, founded in 1906, is an association of 450 farmers with a cultivable area of around 300 hectares and belongs to the most important companies of quality in South Tyrol in the whole Italy. Its members manage the heart of the Alto Adige wine area around the Kalterersee.
Among the estates, two vineyards of Pfarrhof and Castel Giovanelli stand out, as well as wines produced in classified areas (Lagenweine). To apply the philosophy of quality that we take voluntarily is both a mission and a stimulus. The ambition of our farmers is to obtain the as valuable as possible pressed material beyond the quality established. For the wines produced in other territories, winemakers are no longer only suppliers of grapes, but they participate also in the work in the winery, in tastings in progress and in decisions regarding further developments, thus becoming producers of wines.
The Fay farm was founded in 1973 by Sandro Fay who, starting from the small family wine production, decided to develop this activity. In 1971 the work of construction of the company’s suit in San Giacomo di Teglio began; in subsequent years the vineyard area of the farm was extended with the union of several plots. Since 1998 Sandro Fay has been joined by his children Marco and Elena. Our commitment is aimed to the enhancement of individual vineyards that, according to the peculiarities of soil and altitude, give rise to different wines and of strong personality.
The company was founded in 1925 by Aldo Rainoldi, son of Giuseppe, already established at that time as a trader/exporter of wines and agricultural products in the nearby Switzerland.
In the early 70s the Aldo Rainoldi Wine House knew a flourishing time characterized by the development of foreign markets with wines that are the result both of a careful selection in the vineyard, and of a refined knowledge of winemaking technique. Currently, the company is located in Chiuro, the real heart of the wine production in the valley, and continues to be focused on the efforts of the Rainoldi family. The company, in addition to producing grapes from the vineyards of its property, collaborates with a dense network of small vinegrowers constantly monitored by a trusted technician, which allow it to produce 200,000 bottles per year.
Brugherata is owned by the Bendinelli family and is located in Scanzorosciate, an ancient municipality of winemaking tradition, located seven kilometers east of Bergamo, in the middle of the production area of Moscato di Scanzo. Founded in the late 80s, now boasts a production of 10 hectares of vineyards and 1 of olive groves. The commitment in qualitative research has led to produce wines that are the fruit of the land, harmonic and caressing the palate, the maximum expression of the pleasure of drinking. The company blends admirably the pursuit of excellence in quality and respect for the territory, completed by a passion for the aesthetic and the surrounding landscape. In the midst of the vineyards there are fruit trees, a multitude of flowers and Mediterranean plants, including 15,000 rose bushes. From the hill top, dominated by olive groves and an artificial lake, you can enjoy the view of this natural spectacle. The land of Bergamo has shown to be able to give great wines and Brugherata has found confirmation of this through various awards, but especially thanks to the consent of admirers. The company’s motto is "Wine of art" because there a lot in common between the artist and the winegrower, between a beautiful picture and a good wine: patience, love, imagination and will. The true symbol of the Doge Moscato di Scanzo DOCG, a historic wine of the historic oenology of Bergamo produced exclusively in the Scanzorosciate municipality is going with no doubt to be counted among the great Italian raisin wines. The holder Paul Bendinelli has the merit of the establishment of the Consortium for the Protection of Moscato di Scanzo, of which he was the President until 2010 and in the obtaining of the DOCG. In addition to Moscato, excellent white and red wines, a brut of a great character and ultimately a delicate and sweet extra virgin olive oil, typically similar to the oil of Garda, are produced.
In Manzoni Soprani locality, around the business core, there is a splendid vineyard with exposure ranging from south to southeast, southwest.
The plot of land facing full south is called Vigna dla Roul (vine of oak) and is one of our main Cru for the production of Barolo. Formed by a calcareous clayey soil, it provides exceptional wines of great structure and longevity able to surprise after a long aging, as young they are presented with a very pronounced and rough tannin and with pungent and persistent aromas.
