The company has been owned for generations by the Torelli family, located in the municipality of Volano, in the province of Trento, in an area particularly suited to wine production. The plots of the company extend in an area of 14 hectares fully planted with vineyards at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level.
In 1907, when the Trentino region still underlay the Hapsburg Empire, in Isera the namesake cooperative winery was constituted. Founded by the will of the winegrowers in the area, the D’Isera Winery already collected precious grapes of the basaltic hills of Isera, first of all those of Marzemino. Today, over 200 members, on an area of 230 hectares, give each vintage an average of 25,000 quintals of selected and valuable grapes. Good wine is made in the countryside: this is one of the maxims to which the D’Isera Winery adheres firmly.
From the choice of the new plants to the systematic control of the whole cycle of vegetation, all followed and strictly controlled in order to obtain a healthy and high quality wine production. Under the guidance of expert winemakers, the D’Isera Winery gives its excellent wine grapes supplied by the members, expertly balancing the benefits of new technologies and the wisdom of ancient traditions.
Quality does not accept compromises, represents for D’Isera Winery an imperative, a commitment to the consumer and the guarantee of being able to enjoy, appreciate and love the wines created from the passion of men and from the generosity of the hill of Isera.
Winery Estate Falkenstein is a family-owned winery that is dedicated to producing high-quality wines using traditional methods. Their vineyards are carefully tended to, and their grapes are hand-picked and sorted to ensure only the best make it into their wines. They offer a wide range of varietals and blends, each with its own unique flavor profile. The winery also has a stunning estate and tasting room, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors are invited to come and taste their wines, take a tour of the winery, and learn about the history and methods behind their winemaking.
Wanting to make an appraisal on the last ten years, I can say that the peculiar character of the vineyards and the local varieties is reflected in our wines.
At the Hofstätter estate, the most known varieties of South Tyrol are grown. In effect, with no doubt, we have the privilege of giving our name to vineyards located on both sides of the river Adige.
And the work in the vineyards leads me continually to new challenges: decades of monoculture have exhausted the soil, have took life away from it, that life the vine needs to stay healthy and to develop in all their strength. And it is exactly that strength that they need, today more than ever, for the alternating of extreme weather conditions.
Lately, the word "terroir" is used as a slogan, as if it were a fixed size, but that is actually subjected to changes which the winemaker must take into account well in advance in his work between the rows. You have to understand, respect and harmonize all the elementary preconditions for the growth of a vine of excellence, unique and full of character.
Only in this way you will get even better grapes from a vineyard that has already been giving a good product for a long time. I am already working on it, without knowing the details first, on how we can better address the ecological challenges at the global level from a small living reality like a vineyard.
Tenuta La Gatta was built 500 years ago. It was originally a Dominican convent, now is the temple of the Triacca wines.
Already for several years, the Triacca family has been welcoming at the former monastery, in Bianzone, its Swiss and German customers. Over the past two years a national and international interesting tourist movement is developing.
The didactic and tourism routes that we offer to the interlocutors have always origin from the vineyards, the thirteen hectares surrounding the estate express the greatness of viticulture in Valtellina. It continues with a visit to the barrel cellar with as many as three hundred oak barrels surrounded by an authentic atmosphere of the past.
On the ground floor La Gatta has a modern and highly functional wine store through which you have direct access to the sixteenth century wine cellar. It can host up to 54 people, who may be accompanied in the visit/tasting by multilingual operators or serve themselves the desired wine with an automatic system.
This is done by using a badge that is issued at the reception.
Visitors also have the opportunity to follow the tasting with the videos that are hanging on the walls and choose to pair wines with selected cheese.
For a more careful and demanding public we offer, instead, professional and customized wine tastings (eg. vertical tastings, historic vintages) that take place in one of the four vintage halls of the Estate. The rooms are well suited to themed evenings, meetings, conventions, exhibitions, courses and cultural and gastronomic deepenings.
In particular, the rooms have been restored to enhance La Gatta as a tourism destination, to create the ideal hospitality for all types of visitors.
Finally, for those who enjoy walking it is possible to make two routes, of short and long duration, among the terraces that surround the estate.
Tenuta La Gatta is easy to reach and is located at the foot of the Retico slope and close to the highway 38, has ample parking, suitable for also for big coaches.
In the heart of the Marche region. In a lush hillside 350 meters above sea level. Among the gentle valleys and the characteristic medieval villages, Casalfarneto dominates a landscape full of charm and appeal.
The property was founded in 1995 and currently consists of three ancient houses and a modern winery, owes its name from a variety of centuries–old oak tree characteristic of the area. The area in which it is located is extraordinarily suited to viticulture.
Expanses of greenery far as the eye can see: 32 lush hectares of land of which 25 are vineyards.
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico, winning with quality and firmness, dominates the production; Montepulciano , Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot relaunch the challenge showing all the preciousness of 5 hectares planted with red grapes. And yet, neat rows of knotty olive trees of various qualities, produce an extra virgin olive that in its roundness encompasses all the more intense flavors and aromas of the hills.

From its 8 hectares of vineyards located in the heart of Rabajà, historic and valuable place in the territory of Barbaresco, the Cortese family has been producing and making wine with a great passion for the past three generations exclusively from grapes produced on their own. The Rabajà cru boasts particularly favorable exposure to the south, southwest and expresses the best in terms of microclimate, due to the amphitheater disposition of the vineyards, to the land and maturation, giving a product that summarizes in itself all the hallmarks of a great wine.
The Cortese family has always shown a strong link with the terroir, with a careful and painstaking care of the vineyards, from pruning to a scrupolous selection of the best grapes, to achieve the highest level of quality.
Three generations and a history spanning four decades have transformed a small winery in a great reality in the Friulian wine scene. It was the far 1969, in effect, when Patron Mario, former hotelier and restaurateur in Carnia, decided to buy the first vineyards near Dolegna del Collio to experience the production of some wines to be offered to its customers. The Fantinel company was founded in this way, by one man&rsquot;s passion, the enthusiasm of a true entrepreneur able to look ahead and anticipate market trends.
Founded in 1972 by Sergio Comunello, the Ca Ronesca farm is today a modern winery, which is able to produce about 250,000 bottles of wine per year.
The company’s production is typical of the place, and includes a wide range of products of Collio DOC and Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC. Of the 100 hectares of land owned, only about 54 are intended to specialized vineyards, the rest left to the forest, with the aim of preserving the environment, but above all to create the ideal microclimate suitable for the cultivation of vines.
The quality of the wines that come from this beautiful winery in Friuli is high, and above all it is growing.
In the gentle slopes of the Eastern Hills of Friuli, the passion for winemaking of the Volpe family, for many year in the wine industry, arises.
The eight hectares of DOC Grave del Friuli vineyards of high density planting enjoy a sunny and breezy position in the proximity of Parco del Torre.
The company makes of the respect for the environment one of its strong points and in its entire production cycle enjoys the help of collaborators who scrupulously respect the EEC 1257/99 rules that rule wine production.
The quality of "Le Due Torri" wines is also unanimously recognized by numerous recognitions and awards received, as well as by reviews that appeared in prestigious magazines of the industry.
The Ca’ Bolani Estate is located in the heart of the Aquileia DOC and is spread over three different estates: Ca’ Bolani, Molin di Ponte, Ca’ Vescovo. It covers a total area of more than 800 hectares, of which 550 are vineyards, representing in this way the most important vineyard extension in Northern Italy. It boasts also a special microclimate compared to other areas, registering a climate that is more temperate in winter and fresher in summer, for the combined effect of the proximity of the sea. This is why it enters in the so–called Alpha climate zone, the area where during the harvest time the daily temperature ranges between 5 and 20 degrees and the heat summation observed correspond to those of other famous wine–growing areas of Europe.
The Ca’ Bolani Estate was the first wine producing reality acquired in 1970 by the Zonin family outside of the Veneto region and today it represents one of the most prestigious wineries in Friuli which are protagonists in the production of white wines, appreciated all over the world.
Founded in 1934, "Agricole Vallone", a company owned and run by a family, led by Vittoria and Maria Teresa Vallone, who have been taking advantage for years of the technical management of the agronomist Donato Lazzari and of the consulting, for the wine part, of the oenologist Graziana Grassini. The administrative seat is in Lecce, while the farming realities, in the Salice Salentino DOC, the Brindisi DOC, the Salento IGT, as well as the Colline Brindisine DOP, are located in some of the most historically suited to viticulture and olive growing areas in the province Brindisi, in the heart of Salento.
The three bodies of the enterprise cover 660 hectares, including 170 hectares of vineyards, 120 hectares of olive trees and the rest is agricultural land, for the production of artichokes and vegetables in general for the domestic market and the food industry. They are the Flaminio company in the Brindisi countryside (310 hectares, 110 of which are vineyards), the Iore company in the countryside of San Pancrazio Salentino (40 hectares of vineyards), and the Castelserranova company, in the Carovigno compnay (312 hectares, of which 20 vineyard during the installation). Agricole Vallone has two different structures, equipped with the most technologically advanced winemaking equipment, one in the Flaminio farm – Brindisi (a transformation winery where the vinification phase of all wines takes place), the other in Copertino, in the province of Lecce, which houses the wine cellar where bottling takes place and where the delicate stage of refinement occurs (in steel and in wood, in large oak casks and small French oak barrels) of wine.
Not far from the small town of Roman origin Aquileia and from Palmanova, a historic fortified town founded in the VI century by the Venetians, the municipality of Pocenia is located. In this area in the province of Udine, near the Friulian Coast, the cultivation of vines finds its ideal soil, so much that it is the production area of the excellent Friuli Latisana DOC wines.
