Stubbornness and commitment belong to the philosophy of this company, that combines tradition and innovation both in the vineyard and in the winery. Luigi Spagnolli is the oenologist of the company but he likes to be defined as a vinegrower, because his work in the vineyard involves him particularly. Vallagarina is the natural place where we grow with great attention our vineyards. In the old town of Villa we opened a small venue where you can taste or buy our wines.

Valentini

The Fiordaliso Estate is surrounded by the gentle hills of the Monteregio DOC and lies on the territory of the historic town of Massa Marittima, in the heart of Tuscan Maremma, a bright, unspoiled and charming land.

The production of wine and olive oil in Maremma, with its sunny and mild maritime climate, has ancient origins, dating back to the time of the Etruscans. Today, Maremma is considered one of the most important production areas in Italy with its famous wine producing areas, including the Monteregio DOC of Massa Marittima.

The family of Giovanni Valentini, for five generations, has had a strong bond with the land and today the tradition is continuing with the cultivation of grapes, olives and with the production of wine, extra virgin olive oil and with the accommodation in the farm, all managed personally by the family.

Paride Iaretti

Paride Iaretti is no longer a surprise, at least for those who follow us regularly, undoubtedly one of the best producers of "Coste della Sesia", that area between Biella and Vercelli, whose spearhead is the town of Gattinara. This small but crucial producer, who inherited the passion of father Pietro, is proving year after year to have undertaken an ideal path, employing in the best way that the tradition handed down to him and adding his experience and knowledge, to make a series of products that are really excellent.

The diamond tips are, of course, Gattinara Pietro and Gattinara Reserve, two very distinct and recognizable wines: the first evolves in barrels for 36 months and is able to offer itself in the most firm and balanced way in a relatively short time, and therefore it has been on the market since 2007. The second, however, rests for the same period in oak barrels of medium size, follows a more traditional processing and, rightly, ages in the winery until Paride considers it ready to be put on the market: this explains why, currently, the 2004 vintage is for sale. They are two great wines that express very well the character of the land and that of Nebbiolo.

But the quality always remains very high even for other types, such as Coste della Sesia Velut Luna 2009, a single–variety Nebbiolo of great balance, compelling to drink, and Uvenere of the same vintage (indicated with MMIX, being a table wine, since the DOC Coste della Sesia requires a minimum presence of 50% of Nebbiolo), a blend of Nebbiolo and local grape varieties like Vespolina, Croatina and Bonarda. This latter is right the symbol of pure enjoyment, a perfect companion at the table, with an absolutely inviting price.

Revello Fratelli

Cavallotto

At the gates of Castiglione Falletto heart of the Barolo area, on the slopes of Bricco Boschis, the Cavallotto Estate Winery is located, which extends over an area of ​​25 hectares, of which 23 are vineyards.

The Cavallotto family have been owners, for five generations and in 1948, continuing the work of grandfather Giacomo, father Giuseppe and uncle Marcello, the brothers Olivio and Gildo were the first in the area, as direct farmers, to dedicate themselves to the vinification of their grapes and the marketing of their wines.

Still, the children of Olivio – Laura, Giuseppe and Alfio – continue to make wine exclusively from the grapes grown in the Estate and, from their processing, DOC and DOCG wines are produced: Barolo, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo Langhe, Freisa Langhe, Grignolino Piemonte, Pinot Langhe, Chardonnay Langhe.

Gigi Bianco

A small business located in the historical center of the village, at the foot of the majestic medieval tower. Founded in 1870, active for four generations, it is one of the oldest wineries in Barbaresco.

In the winery, with old brick vaults, among wooden barrels, barriques, bottles and objects of other times, you are striken by the cleanliness and love for details. As Gigi, wise and experienced winemaker, says,
