Consorzio di Tutela Vini Doc Colline Saluzzesi

The Consortium for the Protection of the Colline Saluzzesi DOC Wines is an interprofessional non–profit association that was formed in December 2001.

At the basis of the idea of creating a Consortium there was the specific intent and the strong desire of some manufacturers to work together to improve the knowledge, dissemination and affirmation on the markets of wines such as Pelaverga, Quagliano and Rosso delle Colline Saluzzesi, for a long time produced in the territory and that, historically, had already proven their talent and enological value.



Initially, at the time of establishment, the producers who gave life to the Consortium were eight and now, even considering a couple of defections, the number has increased to fifteen. Fifteen names that currently represent 11 companies that grow, produce and market their wines, while four are limited to the transfer and cultivation of grapes for wine–making to other related companies.

A recent reality, but sufficiently dynamic and committed to promoting its products and an area rich in landscapes and history.

Consorzio di Tutela Vini Doc Valsusa

The primary objective of the Consortium is the promotion of the image of the entire Susa Valley territory with the participation in wine competitions, exhibitions and presentations of local products, in the major Italian cities. It is to expand the knowledge of local production, with the participation in wine and food competitions, and also with actions to raise awareness to the consumption of Valsusa DOC Wines, in the most important restaurants in the area.



The Piedmont Region requested to the Ministry of Agriculture a modification of the production specifications: the new powers for the Consortium are a better recognition of the productive environment, in particular for the altitudes of the fertile areas that reach approx. 1,100 meter above sea level. In addition, it provides for the recognition of the name “Vigna”, to be assigned to the products in combination with the name of the locality. Currently, they are planning a strict limitation of the accolades that, however, will result more qualifying for productions.

Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini dell'Alto Adige

The Consortium for the Protection of the South Tyrol Wines was established in October of 2007.



Currently there are 155 participating companies, which produce a total of more than 99 percent of the South Tyrol DOC wines. The members of the Consortium are part of the three associations that collect the South Tyrolean producers, ie the cooperative wineries, winemakers and independent vinegrowers. From their ranks the ten members of the Board of Directors are periodically elected.



The consortium aims to create a common platform on which all of the wineries can discuss and defend their interests, but at the same time also wants to give a hitting unified voice to all operators in the sector.



For its operational activities the board of directors boasts groups of internal and external experts, who help the consortium investigating relevant issues, such as the legislation on wine, policies in the sector or the promotion of wine. In addition, the Consortium works closely with the League of Direct Farmers, the Advisory Centre for Fruit Farming, the Agriculture Division of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, EOS, the South Tyrol Marketing Society, and other organizations.



With the launch of the Law Decree of 3rd December 2009, the Consortium has received official recognition, thus acquiring an institutional rank and the opportunity to make submissions to the Chamber of Commerce, to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and to the State.

Consorzio di Tutela Del Vermentino di Gallura Docg

The Consortium for the Protection of Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, the only DOCG in Sardinia, has big plans for the promotion of the Vermentino wine and, in a more enlarged view, of the Gallura territory.

In this perspective it includes the branding project that Redfish brings forward and that, starting from the design of the institutional logo, passes through the creation of the coordinated image and the institutional communication.



The logo, a perfect synthesis of the main characters of the Consortium: the land of Gallura, represented by its heraldic symbol of the cock taking shape in the waves of a glass of Vermentino that is made spin.

The colors want to draw the nuances of Vermentino, from yellow to greenish, typical of this outstanding wine of Sardinia.

Unione Consorzi Vini Veneti Doc

The Union of Veneto DOC Wines Consortia is the representative body of the wine sector with a designation of controlled origin of the Veneto region and plays an essential coordination through Consortia, on the activity of control and supervision over the production and marketing of wines from Veneto with D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. mark, also to fight abuse and fraud against designations of origin and Consortia’s trademarks. A protection that passes through the warranty on the traceability of the wines and their production using traditional methods.



Not only, UViVe has the task of representing all the Consortia of Protection of Veneto in relation with the institutional level with the Region, the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, the bodies of the European Union for what regards the wine sector and, especially, for coordinating and proposing changes and improvements in the complex legislation. Not to forget, the constant activity of the consortia members updated on the latest novelties in the legislative field. Added to this is the constant commitment to research in collaboration with the relevant authorities.



UViVe is the "ambassador" of Veneto wines in the world, as a coordinator and organizer, in Italy and abroad, of collective initiatives for the dissemination and strengthening of the image of Veneto wines with D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. wines. Thanks to the Union, consortia can reach and be present at the most important events in every corner of the planet. From the great fairs of international promotion campaigns, from themed exhibitions to events over which the attention of the whole world is focused, the Veneto wines can rely on the organization of UViVe to reach even the most distant markets.

Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco Doc

The Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC was founded in 2009, following a small revolution that affected one of the top wines of Italian oenology. Prosecco produced in the Conegliano – Valdobbiadene area obtained the DOCG recognition, reflecting the quality and the historicity of a unique wine, starting from the link with the territory. At that point it has become necessary to protect the denomination of origin of the Prosecco wine produced historically between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, protecting it from the competitors and the risk of counterfeiting. Hence the change of the denominaiton of the Prosecco DOC, that no longer refers to the vine, which could be produced all over the world, but to wine.



The new name of the grape, therefore, is Glera, while only the wine produced in the DOC area may bear the name of Prosecco.



The production area consists of nine provinces in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia: Treviso, Padua, Venice, Vicenza, Belluno, Pordenone, Gorizia, Trieste, Udine, therefore making of it the largest Italian DOC for territorial extension.



The new DOC, therefore, encompasses and replaces the existing IGT (Prosecco Colli Trevigiani, Prosecco Marca Trevigiana, Prosecco del Veneto, Prosecco Alto Livenza, Prosecco delle Venezie) in a single territory. The designation also provides the possibility to specify the area of origin of the grapes for the provinces of Treviso and Trieste.



Forty–eight members to over 6,000 wine companies and 930,000 hectoliters of wine produced only in 2009: with these numbers the new Prosecco DOC Consortium aims to challenge the international market, relying on the notoriety and the quality of a wine that does not fear competitors. The official logo is a kind of sun that with the rotation of 9 glasses stands for the only nine provinces where the Prosecco DOC can be produced.



A significant choice of the producers that joined Consortium is the decision to adopt the State flag, the band compulsory only for the DOCG: a voluntary choice that indicates the intention to further protect the quality of the product, certified by the alphanumeric identification code with which you can track the whole supply chain and combat fakes. The ministerial band is applied to bottles on the market from 1st August 2011.

Consorzio Vini Venezia Doc

The Venice Wines Consortium was founded in 2011 by the fusion of the Voluntary Consortium for the Protection of the Lison Pramaggiore DOC Wines and the Consortium for the Protection of the Piave DOC Wines with the aim to protect and enhance the Designations of Controlled Origin that stretch in the hinterland of Venice, between the provinces of Treviso and Venice.


The Venice Wine Consortium protects 44 DOC and 2 DOCG wines, one white, Lison, and one red, Malanotte del Piave (which will be officially launched on 1st November this year), bringing together over 4,000 producers in the provinces of Pordenone, Treviso and Venice. An area naturally and historically suited to wine–growing, currently among the most important and advanced in Italy.



Numerous testimonies attest that in the plains of the provinces of Treviso and Venice there were vineyards owned by the Doges, and local wines of the Venetian Republic were produced. Literature also shows evidence of sending of Venetian wines to the courts of Poland, of Emperor Otto and of Charlemagne. The quality of these wines, then, was already well known in ancient times.

Consorzio Igt Della Valcamonica

In Vallecamonica, a territory known worldwide for its famous stone carvings, the cultivation of the vine was, at that time, much practiced, the piedmont slopes in the proximity of the villages of the valley were almost completely colonized by this noble crop. The epochal changes that occurred in the 70s that saw a general flight from the work in the countryside towards the most profitable and less tiring work offered by the industries, have led to a drastic reduction in the number of hectares planted with vines. The area planted with vines, still present in Vallecamonica, is of about 140 hectares, with about 500 vinegrowers who, after work or retired, take care for their precious vineyards. The vines that appear to be more prevalent in the Valley result to be especially Merlot and Marzemino, for the black grapes. Müller Thurgau, Incrocio Manzoni and Riesling Renano, instead, turn out to be the most present white grape varieties. There are also native varieties which unfortunately are disappearing, like Valcamonec, Erbanno and Sebina. The Voluntary Consortium for the Protection of the Typical Geographical Indication Valcamonica wine, the most recent among the consortia associated to Ente Vini Bresciani, brings together the wine producers of Camuno. Vineyards cultivated in the mountains, in a pristine environment where vines grow distant from pollution while safeguarding the true values of the wine: work, land, originality, biodiversity and tradition of which the mountain vineyards are one of the highest and noblest expressions. Vineyards made by men through a colossal work that lasted for centuries, which has involved generations. The wine–growing areas of the mountains are spectacular works of beauty, are extraordinary monuments to human work.

Consorzio Doc Montecucco

The DOC Montecucco, situated at the northeastern boundaries of the province of Grosseto, embraces the municipalities of Arcidosso, Campagnatico, Castel del Piano, Cinigiano, Civitella Paganico, Roccalbegna and Seggiano, and is easily accessible from the main roads of Tuscany.



The area is highly suitable for the production of Sangiovese and enjoys very favorable climatic conditions. The proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea, just a few miles far, contrasts behind with the presence of the now extinguished Amiata volcano.



These elements ensure a good ventilation, a proper water intake during the winter months and the long sunny summers.



Composed of fragmented sandstone in the more shallow areas, the soil changes its composition along the slopes of Mount Amiata, with the strong presence of lava compounds, which give vines minerality and flavor; right from the combination of this terroir and the skilful hands of our farmers, a sangiovese of great value is made: Montecucco.

Consorzio Del Torchiato di Fregona

Torchiato di Fregona is a "raisin" wine with a very peculiar story.

The place of birth and the rituality of production make it a valuable monument to the richness of our biodiversity in the wine world.



Torchiato has a succession of flavors, from sweet to dry, which fascinate and enchant.



It is produced by thirteen companies, mostly family run, gathered in a Consortium. In this agricultural structure, the places devoted to withering (barns and attics) and to the maturation of the grapes are still located in family houses.

Together, the farmers of the Consortium intend to promote, preserve and protect this cultural heritage, and at the same time to use modern knowledge to ensure the genuineness of Torchiato.

Consorzio di Tutela Vini di Sardegna

The Consortium was founded on 25th July 2007, approved by competent bodies with the decree of 19.12.2007 and published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale of 21.12.2007 pursuant to Art. 19 of the Law No. 164 of 10.12.1992.



It was created by the desire of a group of companies that, with the fundamental contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari, decided to carry out in a unified form the following purposes:

the control of quality and traceability from the land up to the finished bottle;

the protection of production and the use of the designation;

the enhancement and promotion of the protected wines ;

the proposal and consultation with the Public Administration



for the achievement of which it operates in units of purpose and synergy with the "Consorzio di Tutela Vini di Cagliari" and with the "Consorzio di Tutela Vino Carignano del Sulcis".
