Poderi Arcangelo is a family-run farm and a farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. My family has been producing wine for 3 generations, the total production is about 160,000 liters of wine per year, with organic certification since 2000. We only offer quality wines from organic production, we do not buy wine or grapes from other producers, so as to have better quality control of our products. We currently produce: 3 labels of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG - Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG - Supertuscan IGT Sangiovese in Barrique - Quality extra virgin olive oil. We supply both national and international customers, paying particular attention to all the various needs of our customers. We currently operate successfully in some foreign markets including Japan, USA, Germany and we have future strategies to expand our markets.
Selvole is immersed in the Chianti Classico hills, 15 minutes from Siena. It is surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves, and can only be reached by going through some unpaved historic roads typical of Chianti. These roads are protected by the region because the Eroica passes there, the annual vintage bicycle race event that takes place in the autumn. According to the organizers, "since 1997 L'Eroica has been an example of enhancing the environmental heritage, sustainable lifestyle, and clean cycling." The sweet landscapes and the luxuriant nature satisfy the eye and regenerate the spirit, offering a bucolic peace away from the city tension.
At the foot of the Montagnola Senese, the Castel Pietraio Farm is located in the town of Monteriggioni in the area of the Colli Senesi. The 153 hectares that encircle the medieval castle are divided among vineyards, olive groves, corn and sunflower fields, meadows and woods, respecting the natural features of the land. Castel Pietraio has a natural vocation to valuable viticulture, thanks to the particular climatic conditions, the good exposure, and the passion of the owners, all amplified by the professionalism of the young oenologist, Ms. Barbara Tamburini, who has been collaborating with the company for many years with the aim of improving more and more products, environmentally friendly produce through natural fertilization, reduction of plant protection products. The winery is equipped with the best equipment for the vinification and aging of wines exclusively from their own grapes.
Already owned by the Marquises Matteucci, the company was purchased in 1979 by the Zonin family that has made the transformation from its mainly cereal–olive original stance, into the current wine–olive orientation.
Fattoria Il Palagio, now owned by Gaetano Zonin, overlooks a typical Tuscan hill in Castel San Gimignano, in the Val Elsa of the Siena area, Municipality of Colle di Val Elsa and for a small part Municipality of San Gimignano, in the heart of a land, the central Tuscany, which has deeply marked the history of Italian art and civilization.
At an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, it has an extension of about 350 hectares, of which nearly 100 are planted with vines and 15 with olive trees.
The soil, consisting predominantly of clays and yellow sands, of good structure, has a good capacity of water retention, that can be appreciated especially in summer, when the weather is dry.
Vineyards are modern, trained with Sylvoz spurred cordon method.
In addition to Chianti DOCG, Vernaccia Di Sangimignano DOCG, particular attention should be paid to Arnolfo Di Cambio, a 100% Sangiovese red wine that ages for 18 months in the barrel cellar of the company and to Sauvignon IGT, defined by Maroni as an "educational" Sauvignon, that has received several times the Diploma of Great Mention at the Vinitaly Wine Exhibition and other awards.
The company was founded in late 2000 and is located between Cortona and Montepulciano in the hills that face the village. The soil structure is made of tuff with small parts of clay that outcrop in the highest areas. The exposure of the vineyards, to the south and west, allows a perfect ripening of the grapes. The 11–hectare vineyard, with 6,000 vines per hectare in the most recent plots and 4,000 in the eldest ones, presents different varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Trebbiano and Malvasia.

In the heart of Chianti Classico, in the wooded hills of oaks and junipers, and halfway between the Monti village and the Brolio Castle, situated on the slopes of a gentle hill in the village of Monti in Chianti, the "I Sodi" estate is located.
The cottage was built in 1893 and the name probably derives from the fact that it was located on a stony, not cultivated and of good texture ground.
The house reflects the traditional Leopoldo architecture with the typical use of the arches and the classic dovecote tower, which offers a magnificent view to Monte Amiata.
The vineyards extend over 12 hectares, all located around the house with optimal exposure, that allows every time to obtain grapes with very consistent and always with a very good quality characteristics.
To complete the estate, 3 hectares of olive groves and the Le Trappoline farmhouse inn in Monti di Sotto located about 2 km from the farm.
The first winery was built a thousand years ago by the Canons of the Cathedral of Siena. Over the centuries, it has remained an intact testimony to the importance that wine has always had in Canonica a Cerreto. The same Bishops, who were owners and have lived in Canonica a Cerreto for three hundred years, have changed only what was essential.
In 2003, we decided also to build a new winery, now necessary, in order to achieve maximum efficiency in both winemaking and aging. If it is absolutely true that the quality of wine begins in the vineyard, it is also true that nowadays you can not do without a modern winery that offers the best hygienic conditions and goes along with the various processes that a wine needs in order to to achieve the maximum expression of a territory and of the vines that compose it.
Fermentation takes place in steel vats and aging in small oak barrels, which are normally used for about three years.
More than 1000 years of history: the most ancient document that testifies the existence of Cusona dates back to the year 994, to come to the 70s: Prince Girolamo Strozzi (founder and first president of the Consortium of Vernaccia) starts the marketing of wines in the world, which still runs with his wife Irina and his two daughters Natalia and Irina jr. In 1999, moreover, the expansion of the activity of winemaking in the Tuscan Maremma (Bolgheri, Scansano, Montemassi) and Pantelleria took place. In the Guicciardini Strozzi Estates different types of wines are produced. Among the most prestigious labels, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, already produced for the first time in the estate in the thirteenth century and recited by Dante, Michelangelo, Boccaccio, as well as drunk in the Court of the Medici, who sent it to the Pope.
