Between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso, lying on the enchanting and fertile hills of Teramo, Torri Cantine works its grapes. Founded in 1966 in the wake of the best Abruzzo winemaking tradition, the winery today writes a new story, without forgetting the roots that gave life to its history and that have allowed it to produce a wide range of fine wines over the years. The radiant vineyard hills of Torri Cantine express an infinite variety of scents and all the colors of the earth warmed by the heat of the sun. The Torri vineyards extend for 60 hectares in the municipalities of Colonnella, Controguerra and Torano, from 100 to 300 meters above sea level. The favorable climatic conditions and the generous soil, together with the patient and scrupulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, have made it possible to obtain wines of great value. With these admirable premises and proud of its vigorous roots, today Torri writes his new story, based on full respect for nature and the fruit that gives life to wine, on innovative and constantly fermenting ideas and on the uncompromising excellence of its products. . These are the concepts behind the new labels, full expression of the quality and peculiarities of our precious terroir.

Aldo Bianchi, a native of San Gimignano, abandoned Tuscany before the Second World War to seek his fortune in northern Italy. In 1960, returning to his land for a wedding, was enchanted by the view that he enjoyed from the terrace of the Monsanto Castle: the whole d’Elsa Valley with the marvelous towers of San Gimignano. A love at first sight that stroke him and made him buy the property within a few months. But if Aldo was enchanted by the landscape, Fabrizio, his son, immediately fell in love with the wines that you will find in the cellar. Thanks to the passion for wine handed down from his Piedmontese grandmother and his innate entrepreneurial spirit, Fabrizio, along with the tireless help of his wife Giuliana, began to plant new vineyards and restructure the numerous hamlets. In this way, an incredible story of love, passion and joy towards wine and everything that surrounds it, began.



The continuous experiments, the highest quality research and a careful attention to every detail of the production process, from the vineyard to the winery, form the DNA of this company, made ​​up of people that with their emotions and passions accompany the maturation process of this great gift of mother Nature.
