Our wines reflect the cultural heritage of a land with very ancient origins: Trexenta. A fertile land with a Mediterranean climate that not only offers high quality grapes, but also produces extinct varieties which are a precious heritage in the history of local oenology.

The cultivation of the company’s grapes is certified as organic. The soil is hoed by hand along the rows, with no use of synthetic products, we try to increase biodiversity. The wines express the territory from which they come.

The company was founded in 1970 thanks to the pride and stubbornness of the Brugnano brothers, who with dedication and enthusiasm perpetuate the experience of three generations, launching in 2006 for the first time their wines on the market, the result of the work and the experience gained over many years of activity.

Cantine Barbera

The vineyards of the Barbera wineries are maritime, absorb salt from the air and the soil, turning it into a vibrant sapid flavor. There are vineyards that enjoy mild and breezy winters and warm and dry summers, with important variations between day and night. Berries of grapes are very sweet and salty, with the scent of the Sicilian sun and the cool Mediterranean breeze.

Bonavita

We grow only native vines such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Nocera, with an age ranging from 6 to 50 years and more.

We carry out a strict natural agriculture to preserve the native flora and fauna; we do not use chemical fertilizers but only an annual green manure of legume sown in the autumn, in order to give a natural organic matter; we do not use herbicides and insecticides, but only low doses of copper and sulfur for the pest management.

Our philosophy is to preserve and respect the environment in which we live, becoming aware of the context in which we develop our vineyards and giving in this way to every single plant the opportunity to give the best of itself; only in this way we allow our wines to be a true expression of the land.
