Azienda Agricola Cecilia Beretta

The Pasqua family bought the vineyards of Mizzole, Mattaranetta and San Felice around the end of the 1940s. Special attention has been given to these vineyards since the beginning of the 1980s, when Pasqua's consolidation in the international market enabled the company to dedicate significant resources to increasing the potential quality of its production.

Montresor

There is a deep relationship here between the land and the farmer, as between the vine and its trellis. From generation to generation, the Montresors never stopped their dialogue with the territory with only one aim: to develop their heritage of hundred years of experience and at the same time being at forefront experimenting new technologies. Always with respect for tradition.

Cantina Valpantena

The Winery Cantina Valpantena Verona, established by several Verona wine growers as a cooperative, has been in business since 1958 and now has approximately 300 members farms that cultivate a total of approximately 600 hectares of vineyards, all included in the controlled origin brand areas in the Verona hillsides territory.
Products have achieved excellent levels of quality thanks to commitment and care lavished over the entire production cycle, where tradition and technological innovation blend together.
The Valpantena Winery is able to fully exploit all the excellent qualities of the grapes and olives delivered by its members.

Our origins Quarto Vecchio; flavor of ancient traditions; four generations of strong, very different men, but united by their passion for their work; an art for the Rambelli family, that of making wine. From father to son love, stubbornness and imagination are handed down; applied with dedication to a craft that has become the family treasure, a treasure chest of memories, joys, sacrifices, to preserve with pride and carry on with honor.

Romagna, end nineteenth century, Amilcare Rambelli; great–grandfather; he began the long adventure. He had always been a master cooper, he decided to embark on a new path, starting a winemaking activity; time went by; decades of war, difficulties, hunger; Antonio, his son, a man with a strong personality and refined intelligence, challenged events, left his homeland to seek his fortune in Veneto, Valpolicella; a new home, a new business for himself and for his family.

Emilio, for most of us simply Grandfather Milo, who grew up learning to love a job, but especially with the tenacious will to carry on the tradition, the name of his family with honesty, sacrifice, and stubbornness.

Estimated man of integrity and business winemaker since 1957; strength and humility have made and make him an example as a father and as a company’s manager.

An excursus into the history that brings us up to date; Antonio, like his grandfather; a wealth of traditions, knowledge, passion; his small corner of paradise, 10 hectares in the locality of Canova, in the Mizzole hills, in Valpolicella; sun–kissed slopes and designed by the elegant geometry of the vineyards; a garden, overlooking Verona; plants treated one by one, the selected grapes, constant attention during drying, soft pressing, controlled fermentation and, in conclusion, fining in underground cellars, in barrels of Slavonian oak; in this way the Quarto Vecchio line is made, in this way our wines are created.
