Azienda Agricola Camia

The Camia company is an area of 5 hectares located between the towns of Piedimente Etneo and Linguaglossa, 450 meters above sea level.



The mild climate and the very fertile soil, make that crops are mainly characterized by native of the area grape varieties.


The Company produces both D.O.C. (red and white) and I.G.T. type wines.



Red wine is produced with Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio.



White wine is made from white grapes: Carricante, Inzolia, Catarratto.



Our I.G.T. is produced with Nerello Mascalese grapes in single variety.



In addition to the farming company, in 2006 the renovation works of an old farm building ended, and it became a Farmhouse Inn.

Azienda Agricola Borgo Santo Spirito

Borgo Santo Spirito (BSS) is a farmhouse inn, a restaurant, a vineyard, is altogether an idea and has been thought and strongly wanted by love for a land that transmits the great strength of nature. Borgo Santo Spirito is located 700 meters above sea level, inside the Park of Etna, in the Santo Spirito area in Passopisciaro, a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia, and covers an area of over 10 hectares, 8 cultivated with vines, from which the flagship wine of BSS is made: ARMAGIA, Etna Rosso DOC. Armagia is an Etna Rosso DOC obtained from the vinification of 80% Nerello Mascalese grapes and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. The grapes come from a volcanic soil rich in stones, which often are collected in real pyramids, called in the local language "Armagia", precisely.

Azienda Vitivinicola Al-Cantàra

We wanted to call Al–Cantàra our company because the wine comes from grapes grown in the territory of Randazzo, in Contrada Feudo, lapped by the river Alcantara, which in Arabic means "bridge". The "bridge" as mean and as a symbol of union of three factors: poetry, art and wine. A good wine is "poetry" and to do that "art" is needed.


This is the message our company wants to convey. No coincidence that we have called the red wine "o’ scuro o’ scuro" from the title of the anthology of Sicilian sonnets by poet Nino Martoglio, and the white wine " luci luci", from " luci luci picuraru", those fireflies of which the poet speaks in the first of his sonnets. The other products have names of poems by Martoglio, too. We thank Prof. Sarah Zappulla Muscarà for the anastatic prints of the poems and Alfredo Guglielmino for creating unique labels.

Azienda Agricola Aìtala

The Aitala farm is located on the northern slope of Mount Etna. Etna has been, since ancient times, an area suited to the cultivation of grapes and the production of high quality wines, for its peculiarities related to the soil, the climate, the farming traditions.

The wine that is made has great quality and personality, a "wine of fire", and represents in the best way the strength and charm of a unique territory. In deference to the Etna environment and to the health of consumers, the Aitala vineyards are grown with organic farming methods and regulated by the provisions of the EC Reg. 2092/91 by ECOCERT Italia.

Frank Cornelissen

The company is located in Solicchiata, on the slope of the valley north of Mount Etna. The philosophy of cultivation is based on the principle that man is incapable of understanding nature in its totality, its complexity and its interactions. As a consequence, this choice has led us to avoid, where possible, the movement of the soil and to abandon any treatment on raw materials nor added in the processed product. The cultivated area of our company is of approximately 14 hectares, of which 12 hectares are of bush vineyards and the remainder of olive, traditional fruit, almond trees and garden. Our wines and olive oils, of maximum expression and depth, are named MunJebel and Magma. These selected characteristic wines and oils come from soils of exceptional exposure and geology, between 650 and 1000 meters of altitude.
