The Principi di Butera feud is located in the province of Caltanissetta and stretches on the ancient lands of the Deliella feud.
It is located right in the heart of Sicily, without doubt the most interesting region in Italy, of great potential, that can express itself mainly in the production of great red wines.
The 320 hectares of the estate, of which 180 are grown with vine, are located in a unique terroir: the climatic conditions are characterized by a hot and dry climate; the high temperatures in spring and summer provide the optimal conditions for the development of vines and the perfect ripening of the grapes.

The Masseria del Feudo company is the entrepreneurial brainchild of two young people, Francesco and Carolina Cucurullo who, after long investigations and visits to wineries, decided to build a winery for the production of quality wines with geographical identification (IGT), inserted in old farm buildings. The project is part of a broader pattern of enhancement and verticalization of four productive sectors: Wine Growing, Fruit Growing, Animal Husbandry and Olive Growing, that represent the activities of a family’s farm, extended 110 hectares ad arrived, with the two young people, to the fourth generation. Together with the vineyards, on which various native and non–native varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Syrah, Chardonnay, Inzolia and Grillo have been tested, there are also: peach trees with 13 varieties with different maturation times, worked with a calibration line, packaging and storage in cold cellars, a herd of dairy cattle with adjoining dairy factory for the processing of raw materials in typical dairy products. A new structure has been conceived as a farmhouse inn with the aim of accommodating operators, tourists and consumers, who have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on all sectors and discover all the ancient historical, cultural and gastronomic traditions linked to the Sicilian rural world.
The first batch of grapes entered the winery in September 1978. From then on, after more than 30 years of activity, about 2.500.000 quintals of must grapes have been used.
Our winemakers have given birth to this reality that, now more than in the past, it's the pride of a warm and sunny land. A land full of passion, where the producers valorise our native grapes.
In particular the 'Nero d'Avola' it's the royal local grape variety in Siclian oenology. In this island, the vine has found a natural habitat where it gives its best, as a matter of fact in this territory lays the greatest concentration of all production, thanks to the suitable growing climate and soil conditions.
We are the cooperative winegrowers' association that produces, transforms and trades the highest quantity of 'Nero d'Avola' grape in the world. Nowadays, the winery has managed to harmonize all the techniques of grape processing, from production to bottling, through wise and incredibly particular selection of the most delicious local grape varieties.

The Feudo San Martino in 1993 20 acres of land destined to totally organic vineyards.The plots extend over a hilly area, with about 350-400 meters above sea level variable. Of particular value to those fitted stone, being predominantly limestone, it's land “siccagni” hydrated by temperature related to the river Himera South. The feud in 2000 gave birth to his first wines from the name Yerax, barricaded a blend of Nero D'Avola, Cabernet S. and Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon Monroy barricaded consumed primarily within the same structure as receptions. In 2009, the feud goes back into play with the production of other 6 types of wine the Sicilian Grillo Lordship, Lordship Rosé The Sicilian Nero D'Avola, Sicily The Lordship of Nero D'Avola Red, Red Coat Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay Ascenso.
