Máté Winery is a small, family-owned winery that produces high-quality wines with a focus on sustainability and traditional winemaking techniques. On the initiative of 19 farmers, the Colonnara cooperative was founded in Cupramontana in 1959. The ideal microclimate of the sweet hills of the Marche region led to the cultivation of Verdicchio, which has become over the years one of the prides of this land. The company now has 110 members and, through the use of innovative technologies and the practice of an eco–compatible agriculture, has developed a production characterized by high–quality wines and sparkling wines, around the country and abroad.
Around here they say wine is made in the vineyard, in the winery can only be educated and then present it in the bottle as well and the company has embraced in the best way this precious value linked to the origins. The flavour of tradition, in effect, accompanies the whole wine–making process: from the constant care of the vines, to the aging in the cellar, to the care of the bottles that enrich our table. A worthy tribute to the quality of the wine.
