Thanks to the particular climatic exposure of the "Col de Roer", and an accurate technique for the cultivation of vineyards, the grapes produced are of great quality.
Guia is a a succession of steep hills covered with vineyards of Prosecco.
Here the valleys are called "Fossi". Marai the name of the most profound valley of Guia. At the beginning of the century, the grandfather of the owner of Foss Marai, Luigi, started a business as a the winemaker that led him to sell the barrels of his sparkling wine.
At nearly a hundred years later Carlo Biasiotto, with his family, led Foss Marai to cover the prestigious role of a company known for the excellent quality of its sparkling wines and the elegance of all its bottles.
The Foss Marai always aims to continuously improve all its products, to never be satisfied with the successes achieved, to develop and produce still and sparkling wines that meet modern tastes, without necessarily follow trends.

For several generations, the Tessari family has been devoted to viticulture in the lands of Soave: the oldest and more suited area to the production of Italian white wines.
The vineyards owned by the family since 1887 are located in the middle of the Classic Zone of the Soave designation.
This is a restricted area of unique and important characteristics of the soil, and climatic and morphological features having as reference points the village of Fitt.
In the Fitt locality, in the town of Soave, at an altitude of 296 members above sea level, there is also the Suavia comapny.
As often happens for the good things, the wines of Vignaioli Contrà Soarda have a secret. A recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation for almost a century of history, from father to son, in the Gottardi family.
In 1904, Giovanni Battista and Giovanni Gottardi developed the farm, in the countryside outside of Bassano, as a frasca: they offered refreshment to travelers, thanks to the fruits of the land cultivated with devotion, and quenched their throats, but also their souls, with their homemade wine.
In the 60s, Marcello and Beppa Gottardi transformed the company into an agricultural country inn, where the whole family participated actively, compatibly with school commitments. The Gottardi family continued to produce wine, but with the changing times decided to create a company dedicated only to that activity.
In 1986, the management went personally to Mirco and Gloria Gottardi, who continued the family tradition, with a focus on the use of the typical products of Bassano, becoming one of the most famous and popular examples of typical food in our house.
The vocation to the studies of agro–technical and herbal medicine, made Mirco and Gloria Gottardi fulfill in 1999 a dream called Contrà Soarda, an estate of 12 hectares in the hills of San Michele in Bassano del Grappa, giving rise to the production of wine and Extra virgin olive oil of great value.
In two years of work, they planted 50 thousand of vines and 1000 olive trees, catching dozens of other old plants already existing but abandoned 12 years before, and built a complex bio–architectural structure that is unique in the world, where the production of fine wines takes place especially by hand and using natural techniques related to the peasant tradition.
I run a company of 19 hectares, of which 11.5 cultivated with vines in the Municipalities of Castelnuovo del Garda and Sona, in the province of Verona.
The varieties of grapes belong to the Doc of Bardolino and Custoza.
I made new plants in 2000 of Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet and Merlot grapes.
I wanted strongly a winery, and finally realized it in 2002, after a period of preparation done in previous years.
I created the foundation for professional training, carrying out an MBA in Wine Management.
The years of preparation were 5, determinants because they allowed me to put myself in this reality and then to be able to do, with awareness, important decisions needed for this project.
I started with the production of 2 wines: Bardolino DOC and Bardolino Chiaretto DOC in 2002, because I believe in the promotion of typical products of our region and for this reason I believe that the work of preparation in the vines with a very lower yield, 60ql per hectare, and strong thinning, are fundamental. In effect, they have led to interesting results in the harvest.
In the heart of the Soave area, the MONTETONDO Farm is located, that for more than three generations has been handing down from father to son the tradition of love for wine, the best fruit of this land.
More than 25 hectares of vineyards located in the top three areas of Soave, Monte Tondo, to which the company owes its name, Monte Tenda and Monte Foscarino in the Casette locality, are the starting point for the work and the passion for winemaking of the Magnabosco family.
When challenging vintages defy produces and quality of crops, companies run with attention to detail by “family” hands and supported by exceptionally suited microclimate features, pull out of the hat gems of style and elegance such as the Soave Le Binde 2007.
Since 1890, four generations have marked the story of the Pieropan company, each with different contributions in relation to the time, knowledge and entrepreneurship. The vinegrowing and winemaking activity begins with Leonido, the doctor of the village of Soave who, driven by his knowledge in biology and chemistry, began working in the family vineyards and winery.
His sons, Fausto and Gustavo, continued his work with infinite passion, but the crucial imprinting was given by Leonildo, grandson of the founder who, with a unique style and an innate vocation, revolutionized the company.
The belief in the centrality of the vineyard, the relentless pursuit of quality and the renewal of the vinification process, characterize the identity of Pieropan.
Leonildo shares with his wife Teresita a great love for the land, the awareness of the value of tradition and a family heritage passed on to their sons, Andrea and Dario who, together with their parents, manage the company today.

The story of Tommaso Bussola began and developed within the territory – harmonious, beautiful and of ancient tradition – of Valpolicella. The debut year is 1977, when Tommaso began working in the small winery of his uncle Giuseppe.
The traits of his personality, which then became the real “trademark” of the production, were evident even then, and left no doubt whatsoever.
We talk about passion and positive stubbornness, of “genetic enthusiasm” and about that inexhaustible energy that renovates itself from time to time in the satisfied look of a wine taster, in the positive appreciation of the public, thanks to the wise recognition of those who know how to catch in just one gulp all the dedication invested.
In 1919, after the First World War, Antonio founded "Cantine Franco" in Valdobbiadene, a village on the slopes of the Alpine foothills in the Veneto region, famous for growing grapes of Prosecco, from which the wine of the same name is produced. With his son Nino, the company grew and was expanded. However, it was thanks to Primo that, in the 70s, a modern approach to the firm was given.
After earning his degree at the School of Oenology in Conegliano Veneto, driven by the desire to develop the business in a creative and personal way, he excluded all those products that did not identify with the Valdobbiadene area, renowed the plants, thought about the techniques and labels. In those years, through a new styling and thanks to a constant product quality, the company won the Italian market.
At the same time he decided to begin to expand in foreign markets: Europe, the Americas and Asia. The product is very much appreciated and various tributes, awards and prizes are awarded it both abroad and in Italy. In the early 90s, sustained by the belief that a good wine is obtained by controlling the production from the beginning, he embarks on a new adventure with the conduct of a vineyard where experiments with new techniques of planting and use of the old clones. Moreover, it also keeps with its bestower of grapes a close collaboration that is aimed at the development of his idea of exploitation of the variety.
The final result is a fresh, fruity and floral Prosecco, in which you can enjoy all the potentialities of the area of Valdobbiadene.
The key to this success lies in the strong belief and philosophy that puts emphasis on quality, through a meticulous control of all phases of production.
Thanks to this dynamism and continuous desire to improve the product, Primo created a Prosecco praised for its high quality and personality.
The DOC Montello and Asolo Hills area extends north–west of the city of Treviso, in the earliest piedmont belt. The area is represented by two foothill and hill belts, that are very long and are oriented from east to west, united by a plain zone and by the Mecato Vecchio hills of Montebelluna and Caerano San Marco. Its hydrography is characterized in the north by the river Piave and in the south by Canal del Bosco, which runs at the foot of Montello. The surface substrate of the land located in the Montello area consists predominantly of clays with iron of dark reddish brown color.
The care about quality of wines goes hand in hand with the enhancing of the characteristics associated with ancient and tried winemaking traditions of the Montello area, always devoted to viticulture, thanks to the peculiar constitution of the soil and its lucky exposure, two crucial elements that generated hydrogeological conditions optimal for the cultivation of the great vineyards: Cabernet, Merlot and Prosecco, which draw the slopes and plains of the area.
Here there is a small winery that for more than twenty years has been considered the best interpreter of Cabernet in the North–East of Italy.
That Serafini & Vidotto in Nervesa della Battaglia, in the heart of the Gioiosa Marca Trevigiana, is a story of passion and respect. Passion for the land and for the wine made by two friends, skilled winemakers, experimenters, pioneers. Respect for the land, traditions and limits that do not allow to get quantity in spite of quality, large amounts through the sacrifice of excellence. And this is a love that looks forward, with a cutting edge wine cellar, today an example of a functional architecture in harmony with the landscape, the seasons and the work of men.
It is no coincidence that Serafini & Vidotto has given birth to Rosso dell’Abbazia, a wine that has marked the history of Italian winemaking.
The Allegrini family has been protagonist of the history of Fumane and Valpolicella since the sixteenth century and, since then, hands down the culture of vine and wine. Notarial documents attest that it covered a prominent role in the local community and mention it as one of the most important families of landowners, that has always been linked to the agricultural work and the enhancement of the rural tradition.
