I belong to the fifth generation of vinegrowers and winemakers of Valpolicella. Amarone, Recioto, Valpolicella in itself, are known by experts all over the world. This success has established itself thanks to families like mine, which over time have worked with dedication on the pursuit of quality. When you continue a family tradition, on the one hand there is the fear of change and on the other hand there is the desire to do something new, to leave a mark.
I created my new company in Fumane in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where the elements to produce well are all there, from the soil to the climate. As everything that is alive, wine, the result of a constant evolution; I try to guide this evolution in my own way, Secondo Marco.
Story, passion, elegance: these are the key words that distinguish the Cantine Luvit company. For years Luvit has been looking to markets around the world to offer Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC Treviso. The company, in effect, offers its clients only Prosecco wine in its various types: Sparkling, Bubbly and Still Wines.
The bottles are available in different sizes: 187ml, 200ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1500ml, 3000ml, 6000ml, 9000ml and 15000ml.
In the two classifications you can find Extra–Brut, Brut, Extra–Dry, Dry, Cartizze, Millesimato and now they are experiencing a rosé sparkling wine with Marzemino–Refrontolo grapes, to be launched for spring–summer 2012 in the 750ml to 1500ml formats.
In short, we can say that the company can accommodate any request for those who want to enjoy a typically native to the Treviso area wine, such as Prosecco.
The head office is located in Borso del Grappa, a small village at the foot of Monte Grappa, where for three generations a family nursery has been producing cuttings of Prosecco and not only. The wine cellars for vinification and bottling, instead, are located in the hills of Valdobbiadene and Refrontolo.
Right here in Borso del Grappa the project to insert the Grappa product is being developed, directing exclusively to the single variety Grappa of Prosecco from Glera Superiore DOCG area. We will try to recall ancient traditions that accompanied the life and the economy and the foothills of Grappa.
With these wine Cantine Luvit wants to better represent the long story of Prosecco Veneto, with an original and refined niche product which might be appreciated all over the world.

Donna Caterina farm was founded and established in the area among the river Piave and the Hills of Conegliano. Situated in Vazzola, a plain and fertil soil, suited to viticulture, the company is affected by the strong territoriality and the ancient traditions that still survives. From this fact, over the course of several generations, comes a product rich in history and passion.
Wines derive exclusively from lands worked directly by producers by qualified vinegrowers and experts of the company. Vines are cultived with care and dedication, confident about the fact that the best results do not derive from an intense practice but by an important evaluation of that delicate balance that exists among plant, soil and climate. The aim is to search for an ideal balance that results in an important wine, strong of its scents and flavors.
Today, this still lively way of thinking, development, agronomic knowledge and winemaking innovations are fundamental features to obtain the excellent quality of its wines.
Father and son, both oenologists, studied and graduated at the oenological school of Conegliano. Even the winery of the company, Always ready to renovate itself technologically, investing on cutting edge winemaking equipments, has recently initiated a structural adjustment of the structure. A necessary step, given the company’s productivity growth that takes place in a gradual and measured way with a look to the origins. The wines produced are the most traditional of the Piave lands.
Le Coste farm is located in the small town of Col San Martino in the heart of the production area of the Prosecco DOCG. In the company, family–run, the tecniques of cultivation of the Glera variety, and of the following winemaking, have been handed down from father to son since the beginning of the twentieth century. The cultivation takes place only in the hills and requires almost exclusively manual cultivation and work in the vineyard.
In Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, on the little hill of Vigolo, the Vogadori Brothers company is located, a family winery. Alberto, Gaetano and Emanuele work in the vineyards to obtain great wines from their rich land.
Valpolicella, Ripasso, Recioto, Amarone and Raffaello are appreciated worldwide and now considered among the most famous Italian wines. The passion for the land has been passed down generation after generation: to get a great wine you have to start from the vineyard. Therefore, the decision to avoid chemical treatments on the vines, to use only natural fertilizers and to thin out the bunches when they are still green, to allow vines to achieve the highest quality. To safeguard the environment, The Vodagori Brothers have also decided to use only lighter glass bottles and to produce through the photovoltaic panels all the energy used in the company. The maximum respect for the environment is an essential ingredient for the quality of the wines.
The ideal location of the vineyards has also facilitated the achievement of a remarkable quality: the little hill of Vigolo with exposure to the South produces excellent grapes for Amarone. In effect, with a grape of first choice, you can achieve fine wines and the usage of natural yeasts contained in grapes allows to obtain really typical and traditional wines.
Azienda Facchin is a flagship company in the Euganean Hills. It is a reality in constant search of new methodologies that help it to improve its products, grown to reach an excellent standard. The estate covers 25 hectares, of which about 23 are planted with vines – with a cultivation careful to environmental sustainability – and the others are planted with olive trees. The vineyards are situated along the south–west side of the Euganean Hills, a very favorable to viticulture place, thanks to its volcanic soils rich in limestone, marl and trachytic veins.
The Torre Zecchei farm is located along the Wine Route, surrounded by the green of the vineyards that cover the area of Valdobbiadene. The estate was founded by the over twenty years old experience in the wine world of Eli Spagnol, a farmer who, with the help of his wife, his daughters and son–in–law founded in 2006 this brand new, pointing only to the quality of its products. Here, we find all the passion and love that Eli feels for the land and for his work.
In the wines of Tenuta Torre Zecchei there is passion, art and the desire to constantly improve the quality of products, fruits of the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The love for the land, the dedication to work, the value of tradition: Tenuta Torre Zecchei is a philosophy.
"Villa Canestrari" was founded in the nineties by the merger of the Bonuzzi and Franchi families, both with over 120 years of winemaking tradition, and has become the symbol and the main brand of a new production philosophy that has as its goal the quality and typicality of the territory. The vineyards, all of the property, are located in the hills east of Verona, in Val d’Illasi. Thanks to these and various microclimates, every single production area is enhanced in its typicality in the best way. The cellar of vinification, the one of processing and the loft for the resting grapes are located in Colognola ai Colli.
In Illasi, over the aging cellars of "Villa Canestrari", the Wine Museum has been created, which collects tools for winemaking of the end of nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth centuries. In the "barn", where once they put to dry the grapes for Recioto and Amarone, courses for taster, themed tasting evenings with tasting of wines from various regions of Italy and abroad take place today, and the cuture of wine and that of the territory are promoted.
The At Canevon farm is geographically situated in the land of Prosecco DOCG, surrounded by the enchanting landscape of the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The company, founded in 1971 from an old winemaking tradition, has established itself more and more in time for its quality products, the result of a methodical care of the vineyards in respect of land, territory and centuries–old traditions.
In 2001, the management of the company passed to new and young owners who, with great tenacity and will, by means of the thirty–year experience of the founders, entered the market of quality with its products. Today the Al Canevon company is one of the few wineries in the territory of the Prosecco DOCG that can boast a unique extension of 40 hectares of land with valuable native vineyards with more than 40 years of life. Since the beginning, the founders have made of respect for the traditions, of love for the land and its products, a philosophy of life. In short: forty years of history dedicated to spreading the culture of the area and quality wines.
It all started when the father of Pier Sfriso, Renzo Sfriso, passed away. It was on that tragic circumstance that Renzo and his wife decided to transform what was the most important hobby of Pier’s father, the vineyard and the winery, into a real business. They were a just married couple, with all their life to build. Graduated in marketing, management and psychology, they had a working background that was different from those that traditionally cultivated the land and produced wine. They had thought of everything, except the contingency, that became reality, to make the hobby of their father their business.
It was 1952 when the winemaking potential of the Treviso area, touched by river Piave, the Spinato wines took shape. A beginning that occurred thanks to the grandfather of Anna, the actual owner. A beginning full of enthusiasm for the ancient tradition that finally faced the national scene.
The company today is led by Anna, boasts the collaboration of two worldwide known oenologists and consultants. With these two new figures, young and enterprising, who brought in the Company technological innovation and a precise control in all production processes, the company is able to better face not only the Italian market but especially international markets giving to the palates of all the world what they expect: a wine of high quality and characteristics linked to the territory and at the same time that meet the satisfaction of the consumers.
Graziano Prà. A life dedicated to vineyards in the ancient black lands of Monteforte d’Alpone. A man who has picked the fruit of his father’s work to offer the consumer one of the most interesting Garganeghe of the Designation. He is uncompromising in the pursuit of quality and in the interpretation of the valuable soils that he owns. Finesse and elegance in wines always marked by a pleasant minerality. Born as a white wine maker, he undertook the beautiful adventure of Morandina. A vineyard at high altitude in the high Mezzane Valley, for authentic and intense wines. Graziano Prà has been following the company since the early eighties, though his fate as a winemaker was marked by his grandfather and his father. He has elevated to international fame small territories like Colle Sant’Antonio, Monte Grande and Morandina. Prestigious small crus placed in highly suited wine growing districts. Essentiality and respect for the land are the principles that underpin its history. Purity is a substantial word for the wines by Graziano. He loves his vineyards and cultivates them with wisdom and humility. In the winery he prefers the preservation of fruits and all the research and development is focused on the enhancing of the high quality of the grapes that come from the field. The beginning of organic growing for the wines from Valpolicella are an act of love towards the unspoilt and pristine territory that elevates the vineyards from the ancient fossil marl.
The Gamba Gnirega farm, of the brothers Giovanni,
Giuseppe and Martino Aldrighetti, has devoted itself for generations,
with great passion and expertise, to
the cultivation of the vine.
The Aldrighetti brothers follow carefully all the
production chain: cultivation, crushing, winemaking
and bottling.
They produce high quality grapes from which
wines with unique and inimitable features are produced, thanks
to the peculiarities of the territory.
Located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, the company
has more than six hectares of vineyards, terraced,
resting on rolling hills at an altitude of
about 300 meters above sea level.
The Colli del Soligo winery was founded in 1957 by the will of a group of vinegrowers, all sharing the same passion for Prosecco and their territory.
The winery is situated halfway along the "white wine road" between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene at the base of the beautiful and steep volcanic hills that reach altitudes of 300/400 meters above sea level, and only 50 km separate the winery from the wonderful Venice.
It should also be noted that a ten minute drive there is the famous wine school of Conegliano.
The winery developed in a few years and the founding members were joined by others to the current 700, with an average production of grapes, that are stabilized around 150,000 quintals per year. 65% of the conferred grapes is of Glera variety (known as Prosecco), the rest is Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Raboso and Pinot Nero.
The red wines are produced in the Montello area, where there is a center of harvesting of grapes and, after aging in barrels, they are bottled and marketed.
About 60% of the total production is bottled, the rest is sold in bulk in the area to meet the demands of the bottlers of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
All the wines of Soligo have a very precise identity, especially sparkling wines made from Prosecco, followed by some white and red wines that go to embellish the entire line of packaged products.
These results are the fruit of the passion and associational spirit that since 1957 has animated our members, the true heritage of the winery.
