The grape varieties grown are predominantly Sangiovese, and the wines produced are modern and clean.

The vineyards are located on predominantly hilly lands, of medium texture, lightweight, suitable for the production of quality wines.

The grapes are then harvested in September, always by hand, and transferred in the wine cellar, where the fermentation of wine and finally bottling take place.
Ferrero is a small reality, that in recent years has been able to improve both in local wines and in international labels. Due to the characteristics of the soil, clayey and calcareous on average, located 300 meters above sea level, the wines produced are powerful and intense.

In Tuscany, Conti Toggenburg has about twenty hectares of land planted with vines; the wine–producing activity is accompanied by the production of extra virgin olive oil and farmhouse activities. The grapes used for the production of wines are only the traditional ones, mostly Sangiovese.
Villa La Colombaia was founded in the nineteenth century and now is owned by the Beltrami family, who in the most recent years has developed in a considerable way its farming activities: fruits, olives, grapes.
