Casavyc was founded in 2004, and then is considered a novelty in the wine scene of Maremma. The estate includes newly developed, high–density vineyards, to which also the old vineyards belong, to ensure to the wines a fair complexity and the expression of the character of the area.
The company was founded in 2002 thanks to Riccardo Capua, who leaves his activities as a lawyer to devote himself entirely to the vineyard and wine production. The products of Riccardo are absolutely well made and of defined style.
Campogiovanni is owned by Agricola San Felice, which in recent years has decided to renew the vineyards in the area.
The vineyard was conceived according to two cardinal principles: maximum grape quality and maximum mechanisation during growing.
Campo alla Sughera has thus created a highly specialised vineyard which covers an area of about 20 hectares. The plots making up the vineyard are all located inside the Bolgheri DOC area, bordered by the Fosso di Bolgheri waterway, which runs alongside the estate itself.
This is a terroir which is perfectly suited for the production of top quality wines, both red and white. The micro-climate benefits from sea breezes from the coast, which is just a few kilometres away.
From 1995 on the estate produces grapes by biological methods: this means copper and sulfur salts as antiparassite insecticides and genuine fertilizer; that is, products with a very low toxicity.
Then from 2001, our wine-making itself is a certified biological process. All my efforts go towards a continuing qualitative improvement of the wines we produce: quality above all.
After a centuries–old family–run winemaking activity, the modern company, with the Castello di Cacchiano brand, starts in 1974.

Borgo Salcetino is part of the Livon Group. Today the company has thirty hectares of vineyard in the town of Radda in Chianti, of which at least half are planted with vineyards. The varieties of grapes vary from Sangiovese to Canaiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Il Borghetto is a fairly new company, which now has six hectares of land planted with vines. The style of the products is original and of quality. Therefore, the company is considered one of the best in the Chianti Classico area.
