Azienda Agricola Benigni company is located in San Paolo di Jesi, a small fraction of the town of Jesi, 40 kilometers from Ancona.
This area is also the smallest of the famous Castelli di Jesi, hence the name of the wine of the whole area: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
The Benigni family has been producing wine since the early XX century: it is a family–owned firm, historic in the local landscape.
Since 1997 Maurizio Benigni and oenologist Sergio Paolucci have decided to start a grape selection aimed at a limited but of high quality yield, supported by modern methods of vinification and bottling.
Today, thanks to the passion combined with respect for culture and tradition of winemaking, the Benigni company produces two DOC of excellent quality: VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI "BENIGNI" and "LA SCAPPIA".

Pontemagno is a trademark born from a close collaboration initiated in 1997 between the wine house Piersanti and the trader Cesare Lorenzetti, allowing them to fuse into a single idea quality and experience in the market.
The origins of Azienda Agricola Vignamato date back to the late 40s, when Umberto Ceci acquired in San Paolo di Jesi, a small plot of land in Contrada Battinebbia dedicated to the production of Verdicchio grapes. In the early 50s the land was assigned to Amato and his wife Maria, passionate winemakers, and in the farmhouse of the recently bought estate they started the production and marketing of the wines producted.
Their experience and passion for the vineyards, looked after to ensure the best quality of the grapes for its wines, involved in this project son Maurizio and his wife Serenella. Convinced that to grow and improve you must be open to change, in 1992 they started a new production project: "Vignamato". The company accelerated the pace on the way of extreme quality, in a project that was focused on attention to detail, resulting in choices that pursue more and more advanced objectives in an exemplary symbiosis between the best traditions and the latest technologies.
Through the use of advanced equipment, innovative technologies and the practice of an eco–friendly agriculture, Azienda Agricola Vignamato company today is also an "educational farm", it has developed a production characterized by high–quality wines, without ever forgetting his origins and the deep roots in tradition. And for the future? Alessandra and Andrea have been already included in the company, Francesco is making a full immersion in the family activity.
The company is located in the hills of San Paolo di Jesi, in a small town of the Marche hinterland. Present for several generations, the farm began its winemaking activity in the 60s and is managed by Enrico and his son Mauro, with the collaboration of the whole family.
The careful work in the vineyard and in the wine cellar have contributed to the improvement of quality, focusing exclusively on the specific nature of the grape variety.
The results, more and more prestigious, are the result of the excellent quality of the grapes, commitment and passion of those who work in the company with great professionalism.
The winery
The winery, where exclusively grapes from our vineyards are processed and where their products are created and preserved, was built in 1997 to meet the changing needs of space and be able to blend new technologies with the teachings of the local tradition.
In addition to the most modern and functional steel barrels and other advanced equipment we still keep precious and functional, the wooden barrels of our grandparents and our parents from which we will be happy to tap the individual characteristics of each.
Società Agricola Zannotti Claudio & Ferdinando s.s. develops on a hill of San Paolo di Jesi, in one of the most favorable areas to the production of DOC Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. The soil is clayey and sandy and the climate is cool, characterized by temperature ranges between day and night that are fundamental to the production of grapes of high aroma.
The Zannotti company has dedicated itself for generations to the production of wine; in effect, it was founded in 1958 as a small country business, today is a benchmark in the areas of the Marche hinterland and its business is booming. It is currently managed by Claudio and Ferdinando Zannotti, sons of the founder Armando Zannotti, a family structure based on respect for tradition, but with the mind focused on development and continuous improvement.
Significant, by the way, are the awards that the company has received in recent years, both by the public and the critics of the industry, won thanks to forthright and incisive products, marked by an excellent quality/price ratio.
HISTORY
The company was founded in 1955 with Giovanni Piersanti and his two sons Carlo and Silveria in a basement where they bottled sparkling wine with passion and dedication (which at that time was the most popular product) of two types: white and red.
In the eighties, with the inclusion in the company of the sons Giuliano and Ottavio, closely following the latest developments in the wine market, the company focused on the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, which became the workhorse soon.
The new production required larger quantities and more accurate specialization, so the company moved its production site in a facility of 2,000 square meters, where methodically and with continuous update can better serve many markets.
