La Romea is a typical example of vintage residence, within a late fourteenth century palace located in the city center in Via Sant’Andrea, a few steps from the Guinigi Tower and from the main street of the city of Lucca.

Trattoria Betty

The ancient Trattoria Betty is located in Piazza del Duomo, the heart of the old town of Pietrasanta, a wonderful medieval town situated among hills and sea.

Originally founded as a “focacceria” and pizzeria, it has been owned by Mrs. Betty and by her family for more than 20 years.

The tavern was founded by the passion of Betty for cuisine: without abandoning the tradition to bake every year bread and Focaccia, she adds to the menu dishes of meat and fish, typical of the Versilia area, using the best seasonal products.

Spaghetti with clams is one of the best dishes by Betty, and her Tortelli with Chianina ragout are fine, rigorously homemade, as well as homemade are all pasta and sweets.

Excellent is the quality of meat: her roastbeef and steaks are exclusively of Chianina, fish is treated with care.

In summer you can taste good fried fish or refresh yourself with a creative mixed salad, cheerfully seated at the tables in the livley piazza, observing the surroundings of citizens and tourists. In winter it is nice to pamper yourself with a good steaming soup, sitting in the heat of the room to enjoy, watching from the window, the tranquility of the charming medieval square.

Osteria Del Bamboro

Osteria del Bamboro is specialized in typical Lucca cuisine.

This service is ideal for the lunch of those who work, allowing you to choose already at your office where and what to eat, even booking with an email or a phone call.

A few minutes from the city center of Lucca, the restaurant is easily accessible by taking the direction of Mount S. Quirico, and once passed the bridge on the river Serchio, turn left. A few hundred meters on the left, you will find the Bamboro restaurant.

L'Osteria Barga

In the fine location of Barga Vecchia, an outstanding place especially in summer, where you can enjoy the testimony of the Medici’s Barga, L’Osteria is located, one of the most popular restaurants in Barga, owned by Riccardo Negri.

L’Osteria is a youthful venue who is appreciated mostly by young people, but for its fresh atmosphere also attracts over–40 and especially foreign tourists.

It is a special place, in short, to live the “slow pleasure” of Barga, impeccably greeted by the courtesy of Riccardo, who is now in his sixth season at the helm of the venue.

Wine shop, tavern, bar, a place for snacks and for something to drink, maybe on the outside terrace on Angelio Square, observing the comings and goings of the people or the unfolding of one of the many events that take place in Barga.

In this place you feel at home, because you find good company, because you meet many people, but mostly because you eat well.

The menu by Anna, the queen of the kitchen, offers a variety of dishes where ingredients are locally sourced.

It is the kitchen of Barga, the one that you might find in any local home, and this is important because in Barga you always eat well.

The wine bar of L’Osteria is really well stocked, then you can accompany your meals especially with wines of Lucca, but also with a wide choice of wines.

Take advice from Riccardo and you will realize that you will be fine. The premise is housed within the ancient pharmacy of the old castle, and inside you can see a permanent exhibition of one of the most intense interpreters of Barga’s art: Alba Calamari.

During the summer time, special evenings are organized, full of music and joy, but every night the right one to spend a few pleasant hours in the tables of this tavern.

A restaurant, wine cellar and... a park with centuries-old olive trees of Querceta.It is situated in the village of Pozzi in the town of Seravezza, a few kilometres from: the seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi, the town of Pietrasanta famous for its art and the beautiful Apuan mountains. Olives are the history of this green oasis in the heart of Versilia, where there was originally a farmhouse and is now the Antico Uliveto. The proprietors, Cristina and Massimo give you a cordial welcome in the comfortable dining rooms or in the cool gazebo during the summer to enable you to taste the dishes suitable for each season combined with the best wines which have chosen with great care since we opened the restaurant.

Osteria La Tecchia has a new seat, in the heart of Piccola Atene, but boasts long food experience of high level.

It has been for a long time meeting point of gourmands when it was still in Ponte di Tavole and, after 15 years, it has decided to “reborn”. Same owners and, above all, same devotion to good food, dedicated to the most demanding palates. The best fresh fish caught in our sea is the protagonist, here at La Tecchia, but also lovers of meat can satisfy their sight and taste.
