One of the eldest venues of the left side of Piave, already at the end of the nineteenth century, offered tradition and hospitality with its delicacies. Even today, the restaurant serves traditional and innovative cuisine; pasta and desserts are made ​​as in the past and with the opportunity to taste, in the autumn period, seasonal menus based on pumpkin, chestnuts, artichokes. The venue can accommodate up to 50 people for your most important celebrations (baptisms, communions, business or school dinners); or romantic moments with the heat of the old fireplace. The "Lago Pianozes" Restaurant is located in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno. The family management is by Fabrizio Ghiretti, who will suggest you dishes, wines and pairings. The environment is quiet and has a summer veranda where you can taste dishes in the open air enjoying a breathtaking view. We speak English and pets are welcome.

Ristorante Baita Pie' Tofana

Ten minutes from the heart of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in Rumerlo locality, nestled in a breathtaking landscape you will find the Baita Piè Tofana restaurant.

The restaurant has three internal rooms for a total of 60 seats and a sun terrace with other 50 seats. The kitchen serves traditional local dishes. Here you can taste some specialties of the area, like a vegetable pie with salad of barley and tomato coulis, or the "Toc in Braide" (polenta with cream of cheese), then, red casunziei in Ampezzo style, onion soup au gratin, duck breast with honey and juniper with pan–fried vegetables and venison loin with cereals and flan of mushrooms and potato.

To finish with sweetness, you can indulge in a lavender créme brule, a gratin of peaches with cream or a chocolate fondue with fresh and dried fruit.

Baita Fraina - Ristorante B&B

La Baita Fraina is located two kilometers from the center of Cortina, at the foot of Mount Faloria, in the woods, with a fabulous view over the Dolomites. It is also the starting point for mountain hikes and quiet walks. La Baita has become famous after the restructuring in 1965, now consisting of four cozy well–furnished rooms with boiseries, decorated with objects and memories of the past. The walls are covered in wood and heated by traditional tiled stoves making in this way the atmosphere unique. The restaurant is part of AltoGusto, the great cuisine of the Belluno Dolomites.



The restaurant, with its already established reputation, offers you a guarantee of service and inextinguishable courtesy. It is run by two brothers: Adolfo Menardi, the eldest, the organizer and coordinator of the family enterprise who follows the guests in the room; Alessandro, the chef, that orchestrates the kitchen. Their wives, Anna and Tiziana, manage the dining room taking care especially of the refinement and the sensitivity of the service. Dishes are simple, essential and oriented towards the goodness of the products with the right combination of flavors.

For celebrations and festivities you can reserve a room for the exclusive use for 15/20 people.

We offer a solarium with deck chairs, to catch the first rays of the morning sun and continue with a delicious lunch on the terrace above with a wonderful view of the 5 towers, of Becco di Mezzodì and of the well–renowed Tofane.

Ristorante Terracotta

Located in the historic center of the town, the building was converted from a former dairy where once cheese was left to age and there was the machinery for the processing of milk. Typical is the fireplace built into one of the rooms which makes the atmosphere warm and welcoming, like a refuge. The kitchen offers, with excellent balance, creative reinterpretations of seasonal products in the territory. Worthy of note are desserts, including a chocolate cake with a soft heart of chocolate and peaches in syrup.
