Baita Fraina - Ristorante B&B

La Baita Fraina is located two kilometers from the center of Cortina, at the foot of Mount Faloria, in the woods, with a fabulous view over the Dolomites. It is also the starting point for mountain hikes and quiet walks. La Baita has become famous after the restructuring in 1965, now consisting of four cozy well–furnished rooms with boiseries, decorated with objects and memories of the past. The walls are covered in wood and heated by traditional tiled stoves making in this way the atmosphere unique. The restaurant is part of AltoGusto, the great cuisine of the Belluno Dolomites.



The restaurant, with its already established reputation, offers you a guarantee of service and inextinguishable courtesy. It is run by two brothers: Adolfo Menardi, the eldest, the organizer and coordinator of the family enterprise who follows the guests in the room; Alessandro, the chef, that orchestrates the kitchen. Their wives, Anna and Tiziana, manage the dining room taking care especially of the refinement and the sensitivity of the service. Dishes are simple, essential and oriented towards the goodness of the products with the right combination of flavors.

For celebrations and festivities you can reserve a room for the exclusive use for 15/20 people.

We offer a solarium with deck chairs, to catch the first rays of the morning sun and continue with a delicious lunch on the terrace above with a wonderful view of the 5 towers, of Becco di Mezzodì and of the well–renowed Tofane.

Ristorante Ospitale

In Cortina, on the highway to Dobbiaco, you will find the Ospitale restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants of the Ampezzo valley. The Ospitale restaurant, in a quiet and family environment, serves traditional dishes and typical courses of the mountain cuisine.

Ristorante El Faral

The name "El Faral" in the Ampezzo language, means "the lantern". The restaurant has a main dining room, which can accommodate up to 70 guests and a room on the lower floor that accommodates 30 people more, especially suitable for private parties and small groups and that can be reserved for exclusive use. The outdoor patio with 70 seats and the terrace with the other 30 allow us to accommodate those who wish to dine outdoors. The room is furnished in a rustic style and is characterized by hospitality, courtesy and elegance of the environment.

Agriturismo Meneguto

The Farm of Degasper Giorgio is situated at the foot of Mount Faloria in the east of the valley, beneath the door of the God Silvano, a mythical place narrated in all the legends of the mountains. Immersed in greenery and surrounded by pine trees, it enjoys a sunny and of pure air environment. The wide open spaces allow different activities, from hiking to horse riding, and your children can play freely away from danger.

The farm is surrounded by nature, where the silence is broken only by the chirping of birds and enjoys a panoramic and sunny position.

The rooms of the farmhouse are spacious, with distinctive furnishings and comfortable where you will feel enveloped by the warm welcome of the wood. Environments, cool in summer and adequately heated in the winter, also enjoy panoramic views.

Ristorante Lago Scin

The Restaurant is open for the winter season with the festivities of Sant’Ambrogio
 until Easter, while in summer from the end of May through October. The Lago Scin Restaurant, typically housed in a cozy mountain with elegant wooden furniture that transmit heat. An ideal place for dinners by candlelight or lunches, also in the sun, to enjoy the traditional dishes of Ampezzo and regional specialities.

Ristorante Al Camineto

In 1968, with her mother Marcella and her husband Franco, Lina began her journey in the restaurant industry of Cortina that will lead her to be considered, today, the heir of Rachele Padovan, the woman who became famous for her great dining experience hosting at her table many distinguished guests. The secret of the success of the menus of Mrs. Lina is in having been able to enrich the simplicity of the Ampezzo cuisine with dishes that her mother taught her and with those of her own invention.

Six are the premises that were inaugurated by the Melon family in Cortina: from the initial "Bar Bellavista" to "Melon Restaurant" to the legendary "Meloncino" followed and sided by "Meloncino al Lago", a beautiful chalet overlooking Lake Ghedina, which at the end of the 80s captivated the attention of the great gourmet. In 1992 the hotel experience of the Melon Family started, with the management of the new Hotel Bellevue, within which their gastronomic tradition continues with the "Meloncino all’Hotel Bellevue". After about 5 years, the management of a new hotel of great prestige, Park Hotel Faloria, where to bring all the experience and professionalism of the Melon family.
