In 1976 the first approaches in the wine industry began for Domenico Clerico, currently owner with his wife, Giuliana. At the time, the father of Domenico produced grapes that bestowed to the still existing Barolo Lands Cooperative Winery. The company covering approximately 4/5 hectares of land, in that year passed, for reasons of health of his father, to Domenico in agreement with his wife, to start a new experience. Given that, in those days, to produce grapes and sell it was not very profitable, he started making wine. In 1981 he purchased a small plot of land in Ginestra, Ciabot Mentin Ginestra, in 1990 Pajana and in 1995 Mosconi – Barolo Percristina. With much effort, with good will and anger he has come to build a company that now has about 21 hectares of vineyards, 18 of which in production, for a total of about 90,000 bottles of wine divided into Langhe Dolcetto, Visad, Barbera d’Alba, Trevigne and the three cru of Barolo.
