Isola

The company is located in the hills of Mongiorgio in the heart of the Bologna hills. Marco Franceschini involved in his passion the whole family, working in particular with his son Gian Luca. Love for quality oenology has spawned the Selection line, wines particularly well cared with winter pruning in the vineyard, in order to produce low yields per vine and thinning after the period of the maturation.

Gradizzolo

The "Gradizzolo" winery, located in Monteveglio in via Invernata on the border of the Natural Park, has a surface area of approximately 7 hectares in the typical production area of the Bologna Hills.

From the vineyards located at an altitude of 180 m above sea level on steep sunny slopes they obtain some of the most typical wines of the area such as Merlot, Barbera, Pignoletto, Pinot White.

In the wine cellar, the vinification is made using modern technology while respecting a well–established for more generations tradition and with the use of small oak barrels for aging.

Gaggioli Maria Letizia

The Gaggioli company is a small company in the Bologna Hills that produces and sells DOC wines.

The company works in the vineyard according to the EC Regulation (European Community) n. 1257/99, then, in the maximum respect for the environment. Only grapes of own production are vinified and in the winery the various production processes take place in the most hygienic way possible (HACCP).

The Gaggioli company, which for nearly forty years has been working these lands, from the refit of the old barn has created a modern farmhouse in the countryside. Twelve beds with double and single rooms offer many opportunities for overnight stay. A large kitchen offers opportunities for banquets, parties and business lunches with traditional menus based on traditional local products.

Fattorie Vallona

Several are the novelties affecting the company of the dynamic and enterprising Maurizio Vallona. A new wine from grapes is in fining: Pignoletto, remaining 24 months in steel. At the same time, the inauguration of the building used for the tasting of many products has taken place, all characterized by respect and the evolution of the varietal features; from a well–balanced alcohol content, great pillar of the structure; to pleasure and taste balance. The Permartina 2006 stands out for its refined floral nuances and a pleasant softness given by a slight drying of the grapes.

Floriano Cinti

A produce range focused on quality, from the simple Pignoletto Frizzante to Merlot in barrels, reflecting the work done in the company to obtain more positive results. In effect, constance is the element of merit that characterizes the Cinti production that, even in the absence of peaks of excellence, knows how to propose clean versions and respondents both to local varieties and to the "international" ones, always at home on the Bologna Hills.

Umberto Cesari

Umberto Cesari is a family-owned winery that has been producing high-quality wines for over 50 years. The winery is committed to sustainable practices, using only the finest grapes and modern winemaking techniques to create a range of elegant and complex wines. The winery's portfolio includes signature reds made from Sangiovese and unique whites made from Pignoletto and Albana. With a focus on innovation and tradition, Umberto Cesari continues to be a benchmark for Italian winemaking excellence.

Vallona

The company currently consists of four separate farms, Lamezzi in the town of Monte San Pietro, Cadi Roda, CaNovina and Casetta in Castello di Serravalle, the central body where the winery is located. The appearance of the farms is changed considerably from the beginning of the activity, when mainly fruit, forage crops and grapes are grown.



The wine–growing origins of the Vallona family (with grandfather Silverio) date back to 1935, but in 1985 the modern winery destined to commercial purposes was founded, thanks to Maurizio, a passionate winemaker, who transforms a company created as a joke in one of the most beautiful realities of the valley.

Monticino Rosso

Located on the border between Imola and Dozza, the company consists of two old estates: Olmo (13 hectares) and Monticino Rosso (24 hectares), planted with vineyards and orchards. In the vineyard, which covers 15 hectares, red grapes (Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera) and white grapes (Albana, Trebbiano, Pignoletto, Sauvignon, Malvasia) are grown. Colli D’Imola DOC wines, IGT wines, table wines and dessert wines are produced. Wines are sold both bottled and in the carboy.

Azienda Agricola Tre Monti

The business center is located in the within the Imola estate, where exclusively grapes from owned vineyards are vinified. All the vineyards are cultivated according to the methods of integrated pest management, allowing weeds and wildflowers to grow between the vines and using agrochemicals as less as possible. Moreover, in recent years, surprising results have been achieved through the consideration of the influence of the moon phases (a classic of biodynamic) in relation to certain agricultural practices, such as trimming, planting and, in some cases, even to the harvest periods. Also the winery operations, that see Vittorio Navacchia as a mature and capable protagonist, are reduced to the essential and each intervention is implemented in full respect not only of the fruit but, especially, of the vintage, in the certainty of finding an equally mature partner, able to relate the final result and the conditions that have given rise to it, so as to make that almost all the wines in production are made ​​from a single grape variety, thanks to the great work done every day in the vineyards.

Torricella

The company reached the pinnacle of quality with the traditional varieties that express exceptionally the territory of origin.

Merlotta cantina a Imola

Azienda Agricola Merlotta has its roots in 1962 on the rolling hills of Imola, which dominate the ancient Via Emilia, just a few meters from Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna, on the border with Tuscany. Over the years, te company has been continuously expanded and qualified, and today covers an area of ​​about 45 hectares divided into two units: Tenuta Merlotta and Tenuta Coccapane.
