Five are the top candidates decreed Italian Wine Ambassador at the conclusion of the first specialization Course on wine. They will support the VINITALY INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY in training activities around the world



At the press conference "OperaWine meets Vinitaly International Academy" at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, the five top candidates decreed Italian Wine Ambassador by the Vinitaly International Academy were presented.

Yesterday, the specialization Course on Italian wine, organized by the Vinitaly Internatonal Academy–VIA, under the scientific direction of Ian D’Agata. It was attended by as many as 55 candidates from 17 countries (China, the USA, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Korea, France, Germany, Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine). The participants were professionals of the wine world and in four days they tried to wheedle the story and the prerogatives of the most multifaceted oenology in the world.



The five Italian Wine Ambassador: professionalism and preparation

«Today, it is an honor to us to appoint the first IWA–Italian Wine Ambassador proclaimed by our Academy – Stevie Kim, general manager of Vinitaly International, says – We are pleasantly surprised by the high level of preparation and the great passion towards our wine demonstrated by the five top candidates».

The specialization course of VIA has allowed me to study the culture of Italian wine with the help of professors of the highest level like Ian D’Agata and receive a certificate, very important, by the prestigious Vinitaly International Academy» Micaela Morris, co–owner of the House Wine, says. These are the words of the Italian Wine Ambassador that has passed the test for the certification obtaining the highest mark.



The other course participants appointed Italian Wine Ambassador: Lingzi He, from China, specialized journalist and teacher; Sarah K. Heller from Hong Kong, owner of Heller Beverage Advisory, and finally, both from the United States, Luiz Alberto, founder of the e–learning website www.thewinehub.com and Tony Polzer, owner and teacher at 3 Millennia Tour.
