VINITALY E SOL&AGRIFOOD: institutions take part for Italian wine and oil

Institutions pay much attention to Vinitaly and Sol&Agrifood, which are about to begin from April 6th to 9th at VeronaFiere (www.veronafiere.it). Many of the representatives of the Italy–system will be present to celebrate the success of Italian wine, which this year has exceeded, for the first time, 5 billion eruo in exports, taking stock even on future market trends, but also of Italian oil and of quality food that are showing excellent performances in foreign markets. The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Maurizio Martina (already present in Verona on Saturday, April 5th for Opera Wine in Palazzo della Gran Guardia, at 4:00 p.m.) will inaugurate the 48th edition of Vinitaly on Sunday, April 6th at 11:00 a.m. A prolonged participation, that of the Minister Martina, which will continue until April 7th with a series of events at the Mipaaf area in the presence of representatives of the Government and other authorities.

Sunday, April 6th

11:00 a.m.: 48th Vinitaly Opening Ceremony – Auditorium Verdi Centro Congressi Europa.

Presentations by: Ettore Riello, President of VeronaFiere; Flavio Tosi, Mayor of Verona; Giovanni Mozzi, President of the Province of Verona; Paolo De Castro, Chairman of the European Commission for Agriculture and Rural Development; Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Region; Maurizio Martina, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. Leads: Ellen Hidding.

3:00 p.m.: Mipaaf Area, talk show "The Italian Wine for Expo Milano 2015".

4:00 p.m.: Mipaaf Area, talk show "Legality in the glass, the action plan".

11:00 a.m.: Opening of Sol&Agrifood in the presence of Giuseppe Castiglione, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry;

11:00 a.m.: Mipaaf Area, talk show "Politics and wine. Work and passion".

Interventions: Giuliano Poletti, Minister of Labour and Social Policy; Andrea Olivero, Vice Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry; Bruno Vespa, journalist, presenter and writer.

3:00 p.m.: Mipaaf Area, talk show "Made in Italy: internationalization goal".
