This cutting technique was developed by Marco Simonit and Pierpaolo Sirch, the Vine Master Pruners, and is for this reason called the Simonit&Sirch Method .
The research results were presented by Prof. Luis Gonzaga Santesteban at the Terclimpro conference, held on 18 and 19 February in Bordeaux .
