For over thirty years the Luigi Veronelli Permanent Seminar has been promoting the culture of the land and the table. Since 1986 the Association named after the father of Italian gastronomic criticism contributes to the success of quality agri-food products through the sharing of knowledge. A mission that is expressed in a rich proposal of training activities aimed at professionals and enthusiasts; in the publication of the Gold Guide I Vini di Veronelli as an independent publisher; in the organization of tastings and meetings dedicated to gastronomic culture; finally, in projects with a social purpose in the agricultural and food sector.
A long journey made possible by those who annually join the Association as Business or Individual Members: being part of the Veronelli Seminar means, in fact, recognizing oneself in Luigi Veronelli's perspective on agriculture and nutrition, means being part of a community which cultivates a sensitive and forward-looking gastronomic thought, a critical vision on production issues, tasting and material culture. The vision learned by Luigi Veronelli and his tireless work as a critic, intellectual and journalist is the solid basis on which the Permanent Seminar bases its activities summarized in four key words: tasting, training, deepening and sharing. In addition to consolidated initiatives such as the drafting and publication of the first guide to Italian wines, the Association has recently added the training proposals of the Luigi Veronelli Italian High School of Gastronomy , born in 2018 from the collaboration with the Giorgio Cini Foundation of Venice, the cultural offer of NutriMenti | Festival of Gastronomic Culture , and the promotion of social projects such as Food Relations which, with ACRA , enhances food as a tool for participation and intercultural communication.
