The producer and creator Sara Vezza awarded the award together with the entrepreneur Renzo Rosso , president of the Brave Wine holding of which Josetta Saffirio has been part since 2023.

The “Orchidea” award takes its name from the new symbol that Josetta Saffirio has chosen to represent her wines, the Wild Orchid of the Langhe, a native flower symbol of territoriality and sustainability”. The recognition includes the assignment of a row of Nebbiolo from Barolo for one year, a symbol of excellence and Italian winemaking tradition. The recipient of the prize, in addition to enjoying this unique opportunity and a special Magnum format of Barolo Josetta Saffirio, will be able to visit the row whenever he wishes, bringing guests with him to share this unique experience.

Agricola Sara Vezza is a reality with over two centuries of winemaking tradition in Monforte d'Alba. Founded by Ernesto Saffirio, it was passed on to his daughter Josetta and today to his granddaughter Sara Vezza, an entrepreneur who took up the baton by first converting the company to organic, leading it today to Biodiversity Friend certification.
