The great wine fair in Düsseldorf is growing in importance. World Tasting 2013 Meininger Verlag: the outcomes of the Italian wines in ProWein 2013.
ProWein 2013: the numbers of success
4.783 exhibitors from 48 countries and more than 44,000 from all over the world, 4,000 more than last year.
"The number of visitors from all over the world has increased significantly at ProWein 2013," Hans Werner Reinhard, Deputy Managing Director in Düsseldorf said. "The combination of a large number of decision makers who came in Düsseldorf and this growth confirm that ProWein is a leading fair in the field of international events and central for the sector of wine and spirits. "
Numerous were the new participants, from France, Italy and Spain, as well as from Australia, Chile, the USA or Eastern Europe. Wines of South Africa arrived in Düsseldorf with many famous wineries, including 21 new companies.
ProWein 2013 and the events
ProWein has not only offered a unique overview on wines and spirits at the international level but has also given direct access to a unique know-how thanks to more than 300 events that have met the interest and enthusiasm of the visitors, such as themed tastings of specific grape varieties, regions, food and wine events, lectures on commercial channels, market developments, demands for imports and exports, market trends.
The Italy of Wine "Fashionable and Leading Varieties in International Wine Cultivation"
During the fair, an interesting event on the fashionalbe and leading varieties in the cultivation of wine in the world took place. This initiative expected experts of Meininger Verlag to try more than 800 ProWein exhibitors and to give them a score.
