The ceremony took place on March 4, 2026, at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, bringing together the leading figures in fine dining and Italian winemaking excellence.
The award, curated by food critic Alberto Cauzzi—creator of Passione Gourmet—and Orazio Vagnozzi—director of the Passione Gourmet wine guide—celebrates hospitality professionals who, through expertise and narrative sensibility, enhance regions and wineries, contributing to the contemporary gastronomic experience.
" This is a joy that I truly feel is mine, but it belongs to our entire house. Every day we work to ensure that every guest feels welcomed with warmth and authenticity, and for us, wine is the common thread that connects people to the table, to places, to stories. Being recognized again this year as a Master of the Glass by Forbes and Passione Gourmet means that our journey, made of study, passion, and dedication to hospitality, is seen and appreciated. It's a wonderful motivation to continue to do even better, " says Scarello.
With roots dating back to 1887, Agli Amici is one of the historic names in fine Italian dining, where tradition and innovation coexist in a truly captivating welcome. Michela Scarello elegantly manages the dining room and cellar, embodying the vision of service—cultured, passionate, and profoundly human—that this award celebrates.
