CONSORZIO ITALIA DEL VINO AND LUISS BUSINESS SCHOOL LAUNCH THE WINE BUSINESS PROGRAM

The 20 selected participants – 18 Italian students and 2 from Poland and Kazakhstan – have an average age of 24 and diverse academic backgrounds: 7 are undergraduates, 8 are graduates, and 5 are master's students.

"We're ready to embark on the wonderful experience of the Wine Business Program in collaboration with Luiss Business School," says Roberta Corrà , President of Italia del Vino. "It will be a wonderful journey for the students, 20 young people interested in growing in our sector, but also for us producers, who will have the opportunity to accompany them and understand their approach to wine."

The 37 days of classroom training will take place until December 3rd and will be followed by an internship and project work between January and March 2026. The project is supported by the American publication Wine Enthusiast as a key media partner and by Veronafiere as a supporting partner.

"Our Faculty studies the complex dynamics of business and related global change trends through intense applied research and constant dialogue, including internationally, with companies to provide innovative ideas and management solutions," says Raffaele Oriani, Dean of the Luiss Business School. "In a particularly challenging market context for the wine sector, it is essential to accompany companies on a path of growth and transformation capable of strengthening their competitiveness. We do this by enhancing, consolidating and transferring skills to develop a managerial approach open to innovation and capable of addressing future challenges with awareness and vision."

Experience at the Consortium's partner companies will be crucial, as students will undertake internships that will provide an immersive experience of working in companies. The Consorzio Italia del Vino currently brings together 23 companies operating in 17 Italian wine regions, covering a total estate of 15,000 hectares of vineyards and employing a total workforce of over 3,500 people.

Italia del Vino thus reaffirms its mission: to invest in young talent with an excellent training program supported by companies that are symbols of quality.
