AIS Veneto: wine, entertainment and journalism meet at Sorsi d'Autore®

Four evenings, four historic homes, four great protagonists of Italian culture: Sorsi d'Autore ® is back, the event promoted by the Aida ETS Foundation in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association – AIS Veneto, which for twenty-six years has combined wine and food with the world of art, culture and entertainment. From 20 to 28 June, some of the most fascinating Venetian villas will host prominent figures from the national journalistic and entertainment scene, accompanied by the AIS Veneto Sommeliers and a selection of regional wine excellences.

With Sorsi d'Autore ® we want to give voice to all this, creating meetings in which wine becomes the protagonist together with the words of those who know how to tell, excite and make people think. This is the heart of the event: offering the public an experience that combines content, conviviality and territorial quality”.

Sorsi d'Autore ® represents a journey through knowledge and flavours, a unique experience that celebrates the identity of the Veneto through its most authentic treasures such as the rich heritage of the Venetian Villas, hotbeds of regional economic and productive activity”.

The calendar of this edition will open on Friday 20 June at Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari in Mira (Venice) with the speech of Giovanna Botteri , journalist and RAI correspondent, interviewed by Luca Telese . Accompanying the evening, Marco Aldegheri , National Vice President of AIS, and the wines of the Società Agricola F.lli Tedeschi.

Sunday 22nd June will be the turn of Villa Molin in Padua, where the protagonist will be Michele Bravi , singer-songwriter winner of X Factor and a well-known face in the Italian music and entertainment scene. Elene Gris , official taster and AIS course director, will be in conversation with him, along with a tasting of wines from the Bottega Spa company.

On Friday 27 June , Villa Cordellina Lombardi in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza) will host Malika Ayane , a very talented singer, television personality and leading actress in the musical Evita Peròn , interviewed by Dario Vergassola . Also on stage will be the President of AIS Veneto Gianpaolo Breda and the fine wines of Casa Paladin.

The event will end on Saturday 28 June at Villa Piva detta dei Cedri di Valdobbiadene (Treviso) with the meeting between Federico Buffa , journalist, commentator and sports storyteller of national fame, and Wladimiro Gobbo , delegate of AIS Treviso. The meeting will be moderated by Dario Vergassola and accompanied by a tasting path with the wines of the Consorzio Tutela del Vino Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG.
