Scheduled for Sunday 23 March at the Santa Lucia di Piave exhibition centre (Treviso), it is enriched with Guided Experiences , initiatives made possible thanks to the collaboration with the six Consortia partners of the initiative (Valpolicella Wine Protection Consortium, Asiago Cheese Protection Consortium, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG Protection Consortium, Custoza Wine Protection Consortium, Lugana DOC Protection Consortium and Soave and Recioto di Soave Wine Protection Consortium). In addition to the tasting tables and the six masterclasses scheduled during the event, the sessions, each lasting around thirty minutes, will offer participants a unique opportunity to improve their knowledge of wines and their relationship with their territories of origin, together with ten official AIS tasters and the voice of representatives of the Consortia. The Guided Experiences will take place at the Premium stations at staggered times during the day and will be aimed at small groups. Registrations can be made directly on site, where you can also find the complete program.
“The Guided Experiences – explains Gianpaolo Breda , President of AIS Veneto – are an important opportunity to discover the bond that unites wine and territory through the words of those who live and protect that place, together with its food and wine excellences. A great novelty of Vinetia Tasting , which thus demonstrates the constant commitment of AIS Veneto in offering members and wine lovers a quality proposal, increasingly complete year after year, both for exhibiting companies and for visitors”.
The main event of the AIS Veneto calendar will host 130 companies this year, 62% more than in previous editions. There will be 700 labels for tasting, 300 more than those present in 2024. The spaces available are also larger: the 1500 m2 of the exhibition center that will welcome visitors and companies are more than double compared to the locations that have hosted the event in previous years.
“Since its first edition, Vinetia Tasting has recorded significant growth both in terms of offerings and participation – continues Breda –. A few days before the event we have already reached the total number of tickets sold in the last edition. We estimate an attendance of over 1000 visitors”.
AIS Veneto has also always been attentive to the issues of sustainability and responsible drinking. For this reason, on the occasion of Vinetia Tasting , each company will receive three Pulltex measuring caps with personalized silkscreening of the event. Thanks to this tool, measured portions of wine will be served, avoiding waste and promoting a more balanced approach to tasting.
