AIS Veneto is once again alongside Wine in Venice , the red carpet of wine scheduled from 20 to 23 January 2024 in the elegant rooms of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia and Ca' Vendramin Calergi in Venice : around 40 Sommeliers will accompany guests on the discovery of the best labels from twenty wineries, one for each region of Italy, chosen for the projects carried out within one of the three themes of the event - sustainability, innovation and ethics - and for the quality of the wines, of which AIS Veneto will be the judge quality. The rich calendar of tastings and masterclasses scheduled will also be the perfect opportunity to explore and learn about Italian wine excellence, from Valpolicella to the Lugana production area, from Lombardy wines to those of Val di Cembra.
The second edition of the event will be inaugurated on Saturday 20 January at 2.30 pm at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia by the Masterclass of Champions , led by two important figures of Italian Somellerie: Alessandro Nigro Imperiale , Best AIS Sommelier of Italy 2022, and his successor, Cristian Maitan .

During the four days of tastings, talks and insights, there will be a moment in which glasses will be raised to toast in honor of those who have just become Sommeliers: Celebration AIS Veneto will in fact see the official entry into the Association of a hundred new ambassadors of wine, with the traditional delivery of diplomas and tastevins, for the first time in the rooms of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, at 11.00 am on Monday 22 January.
There are many new features in this edition of Wine in Venice , starting with the Hall of Fame , a space dedicated to the wineries awarded last year, to the Mediakey Venice Award , which will award recognition to the best marketing projects dedicated to food&beverage.
