Fresh from the success of "Lugana, Timeless Harmonies", the maxi tasting that brought together over 500 #Luganalovers and 50 companies last week in Milan, the Consortium is now proposing an event homage to the territory, in collaboration with the Consorzio Albergatori Restauratori Sirmione ( CARS). To taste the best vintages of the last 30 years, to retrace together the qualitative growth of Lugana, deepen its styles and appreciate its extraordinary longevity.
"We have come a long way in these 30 years of the Consortium's work, a work carried out mainly along two lines - affirms the President of the Consortium Ettore Nicoletto -. Internally, thanks also to some companies that have paved the way, the supply chain has become aware of the great value, but above all of the great potential of its territory and of the wine that is an expression of it: an awareness that was substantiated in the inclusion of Lugana Superiore in 1998 and of the Riserva and Vendemmia Tardiva in 2011. Externally, also through the promotion of the Consortium, the guidelines that now guide both the internal market and exports have multiplied, broadening the horizons and laying the foundations for the work of the coming years. Now all that remains is to look ahead, because precisely from its in the past it is clear that Lugana is a denomination that will still be able to evolve in the future ".

The Consortium's autumn events will continue at Milan Wine Week , scheduled from 3 to 11 October, where it will be the protagonist of a Walk Around Tasting (Sunday 4 October, San Babila Building), of a Masterclass (Monday 5 October, Palazzo Bovara, accessible also live digitally on the Milan WW platform) and will animate an entire district, that of Porta Romana , a wine district twinned with the Garda DOC. The Consortium's Virtual Stand will also be active for the entire week, a digital space dedicated to interaction and study, hosted in the platform's innovative Wine Networking Hub, one of the most important innovations of the 2020 edition.
