The looking is clear, of intense red garnet colour. At the nose it is very intense, persistent, fine, broad, with clear fruity and spicy scents: ripe blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant, cinnamon, mace, mild vanilla, cocoa and balsamic note. The taste is dry, fairly fresh, fruity, warm, rightly astringent, full and with a lot of continuity. Fruity and spicy notes stand out in the aftertaste. Potential for a very long aging.
Winemaking: maceration on the skins in rotor fermentors for 20/30 days.
Period of aging: 36 months in French oak barrels (80% new – 20% second stage), then 24 months in barrels of 50 h.
