Tradition, knowledge and passion characterize Vinicola Serena, a company active in the wine industry from the distant 1881. Today, the brothers Giorgio and Gerardo Serena manage the company, assisted by their sons Luca and Chiara Serena, who now represent the fifth generation of the family. Since it was founded, thanks to the courage and the determination of the founder Pietro Serena, the company has never ceased to renew itself adapting to the times and the demands of the market, but maintaining unaltered attention to quality, to the environment and to customers.
In 2011, Vinicola Serena celebrated 130 years of activity: an important milestone for the company located in Veneto and in constant growth. Vinicola Serena is always at the top in terms of quality of the wines offered and technological innovation.
The philosophy that animates the entire company is the constant commitment in following the trends and the changing in the consumers’ demand, optimizing the different phases of the cycle: from the supply of raw materials for the fine wines of the hills of Conegliano and of the Veneto region, to making processes, from treatment and fermentation to bottling and drumming, from storage to transportation.
Over the years there have been two decisive factors in the company’s growth: on the one hand, the link with tradition, on the other hand, a technology always in step with the times.
This winning combination has allowed the company to achieve ambitious results. Currently, Vinicola Serena is a leader at national and international level in the Horeca channel for wine in casks and in constant growth in the bottle sector, particularly in the production of Prosecco DOC and DOCG and other types of Veneto IGT wines of high quality.
The company is present on the market with five different brands: Serena and Le Vigne Verdi for wines in casks, the prestigious Terra Serena and Ville d’Arfanta for wines in bottle, and a very elegant Champagne line of property with De Vilmont brand.
A special mention is deserved by De Vilmont, a line of Champagne fruit of the purchasing of the Maison De Vilmont in France, situated in the famous Montagne de Reims within a prestigious Premiere Cru area in Rilly la Montagne.
