Cascina Val di Prete owes its name to the exiled bishop of Asti, who lived there in the middle of the nineteenth century. In 1977, Bartolomeo Roagna and his wife Carolina bought the farm in Val del Prete and began their work of agronomic conversion of the land, replacing in this way the wheat fields with vineyards, creating a beautiful natural amphitheater. The company today is managed by the eldest son, Mario, a skilled winemaker and a great interpreter of a territory rich in history and winemaking tradition.
