The wineries of the Langhe are rich in history and tradition, and often are custodians of the valuable Barolo. No exception to the cellar of Livia Fontana in Castiglione Falletto, an eight–hectare estate that produces: Nebbiolo for Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Arneis. The vineyards are cultivated with particular attention to the natural balance of the soil, with full manual processes, from pruning to harvest.
Respect for tradition, the pursuit of quality and love for the land are the points of strength of this company.
The estate has been owned by the Fontana family for seven generations and currently is followed by Livia together with Renzo and their children Michele and Lorenzo.
