Cantina Antinori

The Antinori family has been making wine for more than six hundred years: since, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always personally managed the activities with innovative, sometimes courageous choices, always with unwavering respect for tradition and the land.



Today, the company is led by Marquise Piero Antinori, with the support of his three daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia, engaged in business activities in the first person.

Tradition, passion and instinct have been the driving qualities that have made ​​of Antinori one of the leading Italian producers of quality wines.



Every vintage, every terroir, every idea that is willing to lead off a new beginning, a new search for more and more high quality margins. As Marquise Piero loves to repeat: the ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never held back our spirit of innovation.



To the estates of Tuscany and Umbria, historic heritage of the family, with time investment in other areas suitable for the production of quality wines in Italy and abroad were added, where they could embark on a new path of development of new terroir with high production potential.



Antinori continually experiments in his vineyards and wineries with selections of clones of indigenous and international grapes, types of crops, vineyard altitudes, fermentation methods and temperatures, traditional and modern winemaking techniques, types of wood, size and age of the barrels, and varying the length of aging in bottle.



Piero Antinori says: «We have proven, over the years, that in Tuscany and Umbria there was the opportunity of producing wines of quality, internationally recognized, theat could show elegance and finesse while maintaining their original character».



Looking ahead, Antinori said: «Our library has many titles, but not rich enough for us. We have a mission which is not fully accomplished, which pushes us to express the vast potential of our vineyards and reconcile the new that is still to be discovered with the assets of the Tuscan style which includes tradition, culture, agriculture, artistic and literary fact that represent the identity of Antinori, and one of the greatest points of strength lies in the fact of being in Tuscany, or, if you prefer, in our "Tuscanity"».

Azienda vitivinicola Fontodi

Fontodi belongs since 1968 to the Manetti family, devoted for centuries to an activity typical of the Chianti area: the production of the famous terracotta.



Exactly in the name of this strong bond with the territory and with great passion for quality, the company is successfully addressed towards a more and more careful cultivation of the vineyards and a more in–depth knowledge of Sangiovese’s potential in the territory of Panzano.

Querciabella

The Querciabella farm was founded in the far 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni. We are in the heart of Chianti, all here is done in harmony with nature. For some years they are proceeding with the conversion to bio–dynamic cultivation, and for the winery only certified French wood barrels were purchased (for each keg the replanting of various oaks is planned). The rows, kissed by the sun, thanks to a wonderful southern exposure, arrive even to 490 meters above sea level, which gives great complexity and aromas to the wines.



The wines of Querciabella are very rich and full–bodied, but more elegant than powerful. Of course, given the location of the estate, it is the prince among the rows of Sangiovese, in some cases accompanied by local grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, but always respecting the terroir. This use of international varieties is given by the great love of Pepito Castiglioni for France. A feeling of admiration which, of course, also Sebastiano has, and that led him to maintain the very high quality of the wines produced by Querciabella.

Fattoria di Lamole

The fascination of Lamole is nourished by the charm of colors, from the pale purple of irises in early May, joining the yellow of brooms in late spring, to the bright green of vines, the silver of olive trees, to the darker colors of the forest and so on, up the yellow and red ripening grapes, that agree in October in a kind of symphony of colors.

But Lamole is the cradle of the viticulture of Chianti. Lamole has had, for centuries, the reputation of fine wine. Lamole was, and still is, synonymous with fine wine, full of enticing aromas.

The company has its roots in history (the history of the family has 9 centuries). The wines produced, the result of both native and international grape varieties, are of excellent quality.

Pasolini dall'Onda

The Barberino di Val d’Elsa farm covers about 270 hectares, comprises over 40 hectares of specialized vineyards, boasts more than four hundred years of winemaking tradition of high quality. The production is characterized by a deep cleanliness at your nose and palate, too.

The company’s history is rooted in a great passion of the family for the land and for vines, and has as its point of strength the beautiful area in which the vines are grown.

Fattoria Bini

The company, situated in the Chianti area, today is managed by Elena and Francesca Bini Moriani, who continue, year after year, in their accurate work of renowing of the company’s structure.

Antico Borgo di Sugame

Antico Borgo di Sugame dates back to about 1200 AD as an inhabited location. The meaning of the name Sugame is unknown but it is shared with the adjacent pass over the hills between the Val di Greve and the upper Val d'Arno. 'Antico' means 'ancient' and 'borgo' means a hamlet or small village. Indeed, Sugame was just that, and the piazza which separates the two main buildings was the centre of this village, where the women worked or children played, just as they do today.
