Velenosi

The Velenosi wine company was created by the will of two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi, in 1984.

In 2005 a new member, Dr. Paolo Garbini, joined them and the Velenosi Srl was founded.

Although we have been operating in the industry for only a couple of decades, our strong passion has allowed us to learn quickly, improve production techniques and create a winery of the highest level where, through the usage of cutting–edge equipment, excellent wine is produced.

Our consultant is the oenologist Dr. Attilio Pagli.

Moreover, Velenosi is Italian distributor of Champagne Lombarde & Cie, a prestigious French Maison.

San Savino

From documents of the municipality of Ripatransone, it is proven that Serafino Capecci cultivated these lands with effort and love already in 1905.

From Serafino to his son Vincenzo, “Nz’Nz”, sharecropper since 1922, to the actual farm, founded in 1974 when the son of Vincenzo, Domenico, became the owner of the land.

In 1988, the company that has always produced its wines, began to sell bottled wine, aware of the quality of the land, of the potential of grapes and an of an increasingly demanding market.

Simone, the fourth generation, continues the enhancement of the wines of the family and Piceno tradition, with great interest and enthusiasm.

San Savino Company maintains a constant focus on research and innovation, in enhancing various popular traditional and native varieties: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Pecorino and Passerina. A very old ancestry for wines that are the historical roots of Italian wine: if it is true that the first to take care of these vines were the Picenes, the ancient inhabitants of this territory.

Oasi degli Angeli

Eleonora Rossi and Marco Casolanetti are a young couple of winemakers, in love with the Montepulciano vine variety, their own land Piceno and the beauty of wine, with all it can give to anyone who drinks it, as long as it is respected and known.

They are not interested in wines that are technically perfect but orphan of the producer’s personality, the real added value remains for them the human factor, with all its features of reasonable passion, research and devotion.

Aurora

The vineyards of the Aurora company are all located in the municipality of Offida, in the middle of the DOC areas of Falerio, Rosso Piceno Superiore and Offida Pecorino, about 180 m above sea level, in a basically clayey and calcareous soil. The red grapes are exposed to the south, south–east and north–west, too, in fresher soils. The company as a whole, and also the vineyards, are run with the techniques and reasons of Organic agriculture. Fertilization is made with the sowing and the green manure of various legumes, which provide nitrogen and humus to the soil, with the roots that, vegetating, keep the soil loose and airy. The pesticide treatments are conceived as an aid to the natural defense of the plants and are made with limited doses of copper salts, sulfur and natural enemies of insect pests. Grapes, in their full ripeness, are harvested by hand and immediately pressed softly and then fermented. The maturation of wine takes place mainly in barrels and barriques of oak and the bottling is done in the company.

Poderi San Lazzaro

The San Lazzaro s.a.s. farm was founded in May 2003 carrying out the family tradition, in the cultivation of the vine and in the production of quality wine, respecting the environment and the biological rhythms of the vineyard.

The company, which is owned by Paolo Capriotti and Elisetta Carosi, is situated in an excellent location, in the hills, 290 meters above sea level, about 15 km from the Adriatic Sea and 25 km from the Apennine mountains, located in the municipality of Offida, the heart of Rosso Piceno Superiore, one of the historical Italian DOC.

The work in the cultivation of vines has increasingly become the main activity of the two spouses, and part of them, as a family business, and after several years it has reached the awareness needed to give a more definitive and personal feature both to the wines and to the winery. To give rise to wines of non–standardized taste, the vineyards have always been cultivated organically, using means and techniques in accordance with the proper times of agriculture.

The winery is small but functional, is integral part of a farmhouse dating back to the early twentieth century, which is located on top of a ridge with a panoramic view stretching from the sea to the Apennine chain.

The vineyards are located to the south, south–west and north–west, in a clayey soil, they have an age ranging from 10 to 15 years for Polesio and Podere 72, to 40 years for the Grifola.

The company consists of two adjacent farms, for a total of 18 hectares, 15 of which are vineyards and 3 are olive groves and woods, from which, currently, 40,000 bottles of wine per year are produced. The company’s philosophy, then turned to the extreme care of the vineyards to obtain grapes of quality and to ensure the best product in the bottle.

Azienda Agricola Emanuele Dianetti

Azienda Agricola Emanuele Dianetti was born from the combination of the valuable experience of "mother" Giuliana in the viticulture field with the passion for the world of wine of her son Emanuele.

The company is located in Carassai, in the Marche region, in the heart of the Ascoli Piceno area, in a splendid natural oasis in the middle hill in the southern side of Val Menocchia.

This very narrow valley joins the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic Sea and is crossed by warm day breezes and cold night currents favouring the perfect climate for growing grapes and the rich aroma of the grapes.

The land is a balanced mixture of silt, sand and clay, enriched by limestone and made permeable by gravel. Here the historical vines Montepulciano and Pecorino originate wines with distinctive character and personality.

Our vineyards are located on the south and south–west at a height of 150–200 meters, they are managed manually by not pruning the grape harvest following the principles of sustainable agriculture and organic farming.

For us, wine is "as the vineyard gave it", simply made of grapes, characteristic of the fruit that originates it.

Through the craftsmanship we can seize the riches that the land gives us according to the times that nature imposes. Because wine is a game of the senses, a strong emotion and then... a memory.

Maria Letizia Allevi

The company is located in Castorano, a small village in the Piceno area of ancient winemaking traditions.

Nestled in the beautiful hilly landscape with the mountains and the sea that frame them, the hectares of the company are almost entirely cultivated with vineyards and olive groves with the varieties typical of the area.

Following the method of organic farming, in full respect of nature and the land, Letizia and Roberto pursuit in their products healthy naturalness as well as the quality.

San Filippo

The farm San Filippo of the brother Lino and Fabrizio Stracci has been founded in 1999 with the intention of continuing the culture of winemaking inherited from their father and uncle.
In 2003, their passion and experience led to the decision to found the winery 'Azienda Agricola San Filippo' in Offida (Province of Ascoli Piceno), in the southernmost part of the Italian region the Marches. There, in the midst of their own vineyards, they are committed to produce wines subject to organic standards.
All in all, the farmland covers a surface of 48 hectares (120 acres), 28.00 ha (70 acres) of which are vineyards. The Italian authority “Suolo e Salute” is an accredited certifying agent and has entitled 'Azienda Agricola San Filippo' with the certificate of organic growth and processing standards, carrying out regular inspections of their farm. Thus, San Filippo has successfully replaced traditional winemaking by organic farming and processing. San Filippo is proud to use the quality seal 'organic' for their wines ever since vintage 2005. As a family, they are able to realize all the processing steps by themselves, beginning with the meticulous care of the vineyards to harvesting and a careful winemaking processes to the bottling of the various types of products.

Pasqualino Damiani

The company, located in the heart of the production of the DOC Falerio, Rosso Piceno and Offida, covers 45 hectares, of which 15 are vineyards.

Although having being present on the market only for a few years, the company has been able to establish itself for the quality of its productions.

The average annual production is of about 1,200 hectoliters of wine, with a clear predominance of red wines, which, thanks to the particular climatic conditions enjoyed by the winery’s vineyards and the careful cultivation techniques and winery, are expressed in the highest quality and the typicality of the territory.

The idea of oenology of Paolo Cherri, owner of the company, innovative and modern. The range of products is almost entirely dedicated to the DOC.
