Caparra & Siciliani

Wine producer since the nineteenth century, the Caparra and Siciliani families have a solid agricultural and especially winemaking tradition. In 1963, taking advantage of these shared experiences, "CAPARRA & SICILIANI" comes.

The company operates exclusively in the area of ​​"Cir" and "Cir Classico", working the grapes from vineyards owned by the shareholders, which extend for about 213 ha. The winery has, since the foundation, looked after bottling and the product to bottle is selected after a careful examination conducted with genuine passion for wine, deep expertise and professional conscience.

The whole system in effect is minded by one of the greatest Italian winemakers: Dr. Fabrizio Ciufoli.

The high quality of the wine production achieved has allowed the company to reach and succeed in the major domestic and European markets: Germany, Switzerland, France, but also in overseas markets, Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia.

The wines produced have been repeatedly awarded and recipients of qualified recognitions in Italy and abroad, the result of that commitment aimed at the enhancement of viticulture and oenology in Calabria.

Dell'Aquila's farm, a Cirò Doc' small reality, raises property vineyards widespreading
in a 5 hectares' area, with the vineyards plant breeding of short vines.
It yelds wine only from vines coming from own vineyards with autochthonous vines
like “Gaglioppo” and “Greco”.
Dell'Aquila's family has always dedicated to the farming of vines, inheriting from
fathers inclination and ability, but always looking at the future.
Since a few years it has decided to bottle creating three kinds of wine: red
Salvogaro, white Frandina and rosé Rosémanno.

The Winery bears the name of its founder, and has a hundred years of history, years in which several generations have passed through. Today, Pasquale, flanked by his wife, driven by a strong entrepreneurial dynamism, repeats this renewed tradition of winemaking integrated into a modern winery.

The Senatore family is known, in the winemaking area of Cirò wine, as an ancient witness of passion, competence and tradiction. The heritage of the Company is represented from 40 hectares of which about 30 suited to vineyard producing DOP and IGP wines.

The family Zito produces wine for the past 4 generations. The art of cultivating grapes is a passion born in the 1870 when Stefano Zito begun a long tradition about wine which has been handed down over time and today carried on by Valentino Zito and his brothers with the same passion ever.

Enotria Aziende Vitivinicole

The Enotria Wineries were founded about half a century ago by a small group of agricultural producers with a passion for good wine and the old agricultural traditions of their ancestors. Today, more than 130 hectares of land planted with vines contribute to the production Cir Classico DOC, which in this area reaches a very high quality.

The Enotria Wineries today are among the most popular Calabrian "full cycle" companies for the production of Cir Classico.

Casa Vinicola Lucà is proud to offer to wine lovers strictly genuine and of high quality wines.

The vinification of the grapes, that come from vineyards located in the heart of the typical area, is made with traditional methods, with the exclusion of any industrial process; so you have a product that is clearly distinguishable on its features, taking the whole delicate bouquet of the ancient CIR.

Only the wine produced in exceptional years is selected, aged and intended to bottling.

A long experience and the superior quality of the wines produced, contribute daily to raise awareness of domestic and foreign markets.

The Senatore family is considered, in the wine scene of Cir, a witness of ancient knowledge and tradition. The company’s heritage is represented by 40 hectares, of which approximately 30 are suited to Vineyard, producing PDO and PGI wine.

Consorzio di Tutela Vini D.o.c. Cirò e Melissa

In January 2003, together with producers and winemakers, the Consortium for the protection and enhancement of the DOC Cir was founded.

After a few years, in 2007, the protection and enhancement was extended also to the DOC Melissa, a territory adjacent to the DOC Cir. An institution of protection, traceability and concrete support to local wine production, the Consortium works with the intent to protect and enhance a wine, whose identity is tied to the history, the culture of an area, which has always been defined a land of wines. One of the main aims will be to follow the guidelines and directives, to ensure greater safety to the consumer on the methods of production of grapes and wines. The Consortium plays, in effect, Erga Omnes control activities, to members and non–members. The awards achieved in many national and international markets and the appreciation that industry operators and experts recognize to the Cir and Melissa wines, serve as an incentive to work well with the sole purpose of offering consumers a unique and inimitable wine. The strength and beauty of the production, also visible in the many labels, is all in this fascinating link between men, the land and its history.
