The estate is located in the territory of Cir. It covers an area of about 500 hectares, of which 30 hectares planted with vines with specialized cultivations located in the Doc Cir and Igt Calabria, 50 hectares of a centuries–old olive groves, 100 hectares of arable land and the remaining part made up of woods and pastures for cattle. Inside the companys there is a wide tasting room, where you can taste directly all the wines produced, and a vast store. The wine cellar houses also a museum of peasant civilization to ensure that young people can learn about the testimonies related to the Carotano territory, handing down to the future, in this way, a lost world. The winery was built with modern technologies and located in the heart of the vineyards of Cir.
The SANTA VENERE agricultural–organic–tourist company covers approximately 150 hectares in the hills of the ancient land of Cir, a small town in the province of Crotone in Calabria, of ancient origins, particularly significant for its history and culture. This area, with its rolling plains toward the sea and gentle hills, is an area considered highly valuable for the cultivation of grapes and olives. The company, crossed by the Santa Venere stream, since the seventeenth century is owned by the Scala family. There, vineyards, olive groves and citrus groves stretch in a favorable position, which together with the nature of the soil, provides an optimal climate for the cultivation, practiced since 1996, with the organic system, proving a continuous and accurate optimization of products.
The company is connected to the country house where the family lives, which also includes a inn, which is about two kilometers far from the sea, with various sporting activities connected. Moreover, the breeding of "Sella Italiana" thoroughbred horses and the rearing of Charole cattle selected in purity, a breed that is particularly prized for its meat, make od this plot of land a natural paradise.
The house, an old watchtower of the seventeenth century, built against the incursions of the Saracens, are the residence of the Scala family. In the annex of the villa, essential graceful and essential farmhouse accommodation with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, and one or two bedrooms has been obtained. Within the complex, the family church, frescoed with paintings, stands. The sea is only two kilometers away from the farm. You can also enjoy hiking, horseback or mountain bike excursions to enjoy our enchanting and suggestive scenarios. Tennis, soccer, volleyball, swimming are held in sports and recreation centers affiliated with our company.
The Cir wines of the San Francesco farm present themselves today as modern wines, but to remember the wine tradition of his family, Francesco Siciliani, adopted as a logo the family noble coat of arms, consisting of a rampant lion placed on a mountain with three peaks on a blue background. After having taken the first steps in the cellar of the family, gaining a good experience in the field, Francesco Siciliani has developed its own high–tech winery.
The structure covers 2,000 square meters, of which six hundred underground that constitute the barrel cellar, has a production capacity of over one million bottles a year, and with steel silos and machinery that enable cutting–edge methods of vinification. The choice of quality control that accompanies the grapes throughout their growing cycle until bottling, has been the trump card of the San Francesco farm to give prestige to the vocation of its territory, for too long obscured by productions more attentive to quantity that to quality.
The enhancement of the grape varieties that have made the production of Cir famous since antiquity, therefore, characterizes the company’s philosophy.
From Gaglioppo, a vine grown in the hills, with the typical sapling form, they produce a classic red and a rosé Cir, obtained by detaching, immediately after crushing, the juice from the pulp and the skins of the grapes.
Only from Greco grapes, white Cir is made. "Ronco dei Quattroventi" and "Donna Madda" are the happy expression of the potential of Gaglioppo enhanced in barrique.

The effort we put in the care of our vineyards, finds concrete expression in the transformation in the winery of carefully selected grapes in wines with a strong personality and a well defined identity. The continuous technological modernization and a constant search aimed to the recovery of tradition, enhance the intrinsic characteristics of a particularly suited terroir. Today, we, the Ippolito company, proudly treasure our holdings, accumulated in a hundred and sixty years, we aim to absolute quality of our wines by seeking immortality in the indissoluble link among history, the vineyard, the land and human intervention. The Librandi company is located in Cirò Marina, a small town in the Ionian coast of Calabria, placed near Punta Alice, a promontory south of the Gulf of Taranto. This area is naturally suited for the cultivation of vines, for the natural inclination of the land and its geographical position, a short distance from the sea and with the Sila mountains behind, a situation that guarantees ideal temperature ranges between day and night. The Librandi family has been growing vines for four generations, and from the 50s it began the activity of bottling. The management of the company has always been firmly in the hands of the family, with the technical collaboration of Donato Lanati, professor of enology at the University of Turin and Florence, and of its studio Enosis Meraviglia.
Wine producer since the nineteenth century, the Caparra and Siciliani families have a solid agricultural and especially winemaking tradition. In 1963, taking advantage of these shared experiences, "CAPARRA & SICILIANI" comes.
The company operates exclusively in the area of "Cir" and "Cir Classico", working the grapes from vineyards owned by the shareholders, which extend for about 213 ha. The winery has, since the foundation, looked after bottling and the product to bottle is selected after a careful examination conducted with genuine passion for wine, deep expertise and professional conscience.
The whole system in effect is minded by one of the greatest Italian winemakers: Dr. Fabrizio Ciufoli.
The high quality of the wine production achieved has allowed the company to reach and succeed in the major domestic and European markets: Germany, Switzerland, France, but also in overseas markets, Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia.
The wines produced have been repeatedly awarded and recipients of qualified recognitions in Italy and abroad, the result of that commitment aimed at the enhancement of viticulture and oenology in Calabria.
Dell'Aquila's farm, a Cirò Doc' small reality, raises property vineyards widespreading
in a 5 hectares' area, with the vineyards plant breeding of short vines.
It yelds wine only from vines coming from own vineyards with autochthonous vines
like “Gaglioppo” and “Greco”.
Dell'Aquila's family has always dedicated to the farming of vines, inheriting from

The Senatore family is known, in the winemaking area of Cirò wine, as an ancient witness of passion, competence and tradiction. The heritage of the Company is represented from 40 hectares of which about 30 suited to vineyard producing DOP and IGP wines.
It was 1973 when I decided to buy the estate belonged to the Princes Campitello and Pignatello and later to the Barons Giunti, with the homestead dating back to 1600. In the same year I started the transformation of the land and they were born, next to the olive trees, the first vineyards, from which with time and sacrifices I got my first wine.
Today, the farm Azienda Agricola Ceraudo covers 60 hectares, 38 of which are covered by olive groves, vineyards and 20 from 2 by citrus groves.
